We have a game Monday night against TB. Let us move past juvenile conversations, and instead move on to football! I personally think all of the threads pertaining to Martin, etc. should be moved to the Rants forum. PLEASE don't even mention in a joking reference. If our D shows up again, this should be an easy win. Though Rashod Jones has been a HUGE disappointment to me this season, with his play. Clemons on the other hand has been pretty solid. Patterson has been amazing when he isn't writhing in pain. I want to see more of this more consistent Lamar Miller, and plenty of Clay! WOW! How big a fan is everyone now of Clay? Seems that our TE group is getting better as well.
My concern for this game is the Wallace and Revis matchup. If Tanny tries to force him the ball, Revis will make him pay.
I understand your frustration, but the truth is, the resolution of the situation about which you don't want to talk will be much more meaningful in the long run to the future of this team than the TB game.
My biggest concern in this game is Vincent Jackson. I don't know if we have anyone who can cover him. Also, Mike James was running right through Seattle's D line, which is a very good line.
This should be a comfortable win. Blow these clowns out in primetime on national TV. Get this team's focus & attitude where it needs to be: playing ball. We should be able to run all over them like Seattle did down the stretch. The Bucs front 4 generates very little pass rush off the ends. I don't see how Mike Glennon is going to put up points on our defense...he's a disaster when an ounce of pressure is on him. Mike James has looked damn good, but that passing game is so weak that loading the box should not be difficult. Perfect opponent to get after this week's sh.t-storm.
That offense put 3 straight TDs on the Seahawks and required a furious second half comeback for a very good Seattle team to beat them IN Seattle. If you expect an easy win, you may wind up being unpleasantly surprised.
I expect a very pissed off team to take the field and take out all their aggressions on Tampa. I expect a solid win on National TV. They better as I'm flying down from Cleveland to see them Monday and I don't want to come home a very upset fan.
Happy for Mike James, was a big fan of his at the U. Great guy. PFF Secret Superstar: That said, our front 7 should be able to load up on the run game as Tampa has only one WR who can get much separation.
Come Monday, I'll care. Plus, it's a day off for me! And I bet for the players, that three hours of freedom from all the other garbage that's been swirling around their premises, organization, and team are going to be sweet relief. Not to mention, how many of us are totally interested to see whether this game and maybe future ones are half efforts due to distraction city, a judgment for or against the coaching staff, or a banding together of unity on how they plan to face the rest of the season? I care.
I hope this really gives them a common "enemy." Circle the wagons and all that jazz. It's going to be an interesting second half of the season.
Game is almost as good as a home game, should be good. GO MIAMI!!! You might knock us down but we will get right back up.
I don't think revis is going to be much trouble for wallace. Ted Ginn was able to separate from him. and I think Wallace is maybe a little better than Ted Ginn. I just looked it up and when the jets played the steelers in the past, cro was typically on wallace, not revis
Through the whole drama arising I haven't heard anything of today's injury report, anybody have any info on it?
Well one thing is for sure... after this week people will actually be interested in a game between the mediocre Dolphins & winless Bucs! For at least a little while anyway.
The Bucs are not an 0-8 team, they have some talent. I look at this game just like I looked at the Bills game. Protect the football and we should win. Let's hope this one goes better than the Bills game. GO DOLPHINS!!!
I don't know if you're being a smart *** or not, but yes I know they're 0-8. I'm saying they're better than their record says they are.
We have a very good D line too. A VERY good line. If our DL shows up all game, the Bucs' rookie QB won't have time to hit Jackson often enough to win.
Sounds good to me! I'm ready for some football. I'm ready for a statement type game. That is some easy white-board material. Just WIN and everything will go away. Lose, and well... you know. Dolphins 27 Bucs 10
I don't get why we are underdogs in this game at all. We should win it despite the drama of the week...I think the players come out mad. We are still terrible on offense though so we won't score THAT many points. Dolphins 23 Bucs 13
The team really needs to come together. If they play w/ the attitude they showed in the locker room on Wednesday they shd win. I say 10 or more points.
I am looking forward to something we haven't seen all year. A dominant performance. And I really don't care why the team is primed for it. I just want to see it.
I agree he's due for a big one anyway, but he seems to be the most pissed right now and I think we see a big game from him
