    Case 1:
    He has been against what has been happening and has had enough and is leaving
    Case 2:
    He was in it up to his eyeballs and the 'phins are blameshifting stuff onto him so they can say "look we sacked the guy responsible"
    Case 3:
    He is leaving for reasons unrelated other job/illness/family and the 'phins just plumb forgot to mention this other reason.

    Very valid point. But they should have canned our Oline coaches a while ago. Doing it now is just bad timing and the media will have a speculating field day with this news. But I'm with you. Better late then never. Although I wonder how much of it is coaching and how much of it is a lack of talent.
