Former Miami Dolphins quarterback Sage Rosenfels wore out Twitter to rip Dolphins General Manager Jeff Ireland, saying, among other things, that Ireland 'won the award for worst GM in my career.' Rosenfels played the first four years of his career (2002-05) in Miami, but also was brought back in 2011. It was that short stint that was referenced in his screed. http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/...ireland-dolphins-20131107,0,5354918.htmlstory ----------------------------- Sage obviously has an ax to grind as per Ireland, but he always seemed pretty level headed to me, which made this a bit interesting.
Ireland is a clown and he should be fired but his Twitter rant was his way of getting involved in something he had no right to be involved in. He should STFU, go back to doing whatever he is doing and cut down on the drunk tweets.
I think that Sage picked his revenge moment for maximum effect- surprising really, kind of low brow for Sage. He must have been carrying a serious grudge over the years, I'd guess that Ireland at least partially deserves the venom.
The GM wouldn't release a 3rd string QB when he wanted to be. He fails to make a concrete case here... and doing this now is a d*** move for a guy claiming the other guy is a d***.
Why does he automatically have an axe to grind?? Bad assumption on your guys part, Ireland has never been the coolest guy in the room. And people act flabbergasted Sage thinks Jeff is a prick? Seems to be a recurring theme....ask Ryan Clark.
Must be a typo. The "s" is just 2 letters to the left of "f" on the keyboard. I'm sure you meant HOS (hall of shame)
Just seems a little off, piling on kinda vibe, hasn't said anything before now. He was only here for a little over 2 months with Ireland as GM, and being placed on IR/released in mid-december obviously makes me believe he probably has an "axe to grind".
