The other thing that gets me is how many of these guys had their own issues with the media and disliked the way they were portrayed during different incidents - then they turn around and do the exact same thing to another player. Irvin and Sanders were both high during their arrests and bookings... lol...

Hysterical how they throw stones now.

I didn't read through this thread, but to answer the question, they survive if there was no bullying (just facts manipulated to give that appearance by the parents/lawyers) and Miami makes the playoffs.

His teammates voted him to the leadership council. There was no "let" involved. If you believe Philbin had to agree with the voting results on every player elected, then I'd like to see some proof, not just an assumption.

I think its clear Incognito went over the line. He said so himself. To me, the one person more directly responsible for not knowing, is Jeff Ireland. Hes the head of personnel, and we have heard way more then enough now, to know that Jonathan Martin was not and never has been your typical lockeroom player. Whether this should have happened as it has in public, at this point, doesnt matter. It did. Jeff Ireland has to go.

Even before this incident, you could make a good argument for bringing in a new OL coach. I'd say a new OC too. Because while Turner teaches the OL proper blocking technique, Sherman's offense determines the blocking schemes and protection assignments. I see more of a failure in the latter.

Threatening to kill somebody's family is certainly crossing the line when considered in a vacuum, but not if it was a joke in response to the exact same joke being told to him. And I don't agree that's the only consideration. If the team makes the playoffs in RT's second season after a roster overhaul then the GM gets some credit for that. That's why I specifically listed the two criteria I did. One shows that the Cogs issue wasn't as big as originally portrayed and the other shows roster improvement.

What exactly did Incog do with the golf club? Your saying sexual assault makes it sound like he penetrated her with it and if he had, it would have been a huge deal. The way I read it, he lightly touched her butt with the golf club, which while rude and crude would not be assault.

They all go !! And if you don't feel that way now, you will in 8 weeks.

You suspended your starting guard, your starting tackle is AWOL, and for two weeks you have had this information. How do you explain, zero transactions since suspending Incognito? Way to be on the ball, Ireland.

Is there a GM on the planet that had so many resources in one off-season, so many draft picks, and performed more ineptly than Ireland?

Wallace - Joke. Trade up (Dump a 2nd round pick) - Dion Jordan - Bust. Jamal Taylor - Bust. This Offensive Line - Pre-Everything - Joke. Even the guys you could say he might have hit on, like Keller and Gibson - Out for the season. It reminds me of the movie "Let it Ride" - It was YOU looney (Ireland) - All these years it was YOU.

I'm smiling this week - because finally Jeff Irelands fate is sealed and since your cleaning the house, CLEAN IT ALL.

Take Philbin - Sherman - Ireland - EVERY SINGLE COACH on the staff and while your at it take that WR wanna be QB with ya.

I'm wearing my Aqua and Orange bag over my head next home game. Look for me.

Tampa gets their first win Monday Night - BOOK IT.

Stupid comments like this hurts those of us that can present legitimate evidence that supports why Jeff should be fired.

No offense and I agree with a lot of your opinions but there are enough lemmings with 2 digit IQ's on both sides of the aisle to elect someone independent that's actually for the people. Now back to football, er acceptable PC locker room behavior debate.

I don't remember the thing about ESPN not reporting on Roethlisberger. That is pretty bad.

Simple conjecture on Hyde's part. Likely, true. However, all the Irish haters will be sad to see that he gets canned because of this issue and not because he didn't do his job correctly. This is about a weak-minded player getting revenge, not about a culture the staff propagated or about a player not being good enough or any of that nature that usually gets a regime dumped by the owner. This is about Ross being embarrassed as the owner, plain and simple. I don't blame him, but all the scape-goaters will have to concede this won't have anything to do with football or talent acquisition...

Funniest quote was when Irvin replies to them trying to calm him down, "Incognito has everybody scared" Lol

Love how he was trying to defend the Cowboys after that 50 pt beating the Saints put on them... 49-17. Wow... The great and powerful Cowboys offense only mustered 17 pts. Saints set an NFL record with 40 first downs in a game.

Guy is clown. Amazing that ESPN pays him, Sapp, and Dion around $50K a month or so to spout off unintelligible drivel. People also forget that he and Dion were involved with Dez and Blackmon while those 2 were in college and first came into the league. Now they try to distance themselves or defend their idiocies and need to be babysat.

If his record as GM was stellar he'd be in no danger of being "scape-goated" just over this. Did Bellichick get fired after spygate? Would he get fired if this happened in New England? To say that the football side of things had nothing to do with it if he was to get canned is probably not accurate.

Funny you bring up New England in an analogy for there not being a double standard in the nfl  Their dirty laundry gets destroyed, ours gets put on the front page.

I'm not saying Ireland might not deserve to go at the end of the year either but that's just funny.

if MR Ross is stupid enough to keep Ireland and Philbin then Iwill be pissed and I never had as much contempt for anyone in our front office the way I do for Ireland . Philbin is not a people person so he needs to go . So if this stupid franchize keeps both guys then the dolphins will be the least respected team in the nfl and more people will trash this orginaztion.
