What I take out of that....Ireland is history !

 

First he will address the accusations of him being droopy the dog. After that we'll hear the same crap about how he's hired the right people, etc. Same old Droopy

 

Of course TOngy dungy is on the council of elders Ross is creating.

As I said in the Head Coach for PR thread, TOny Dungy will carry the race card and integrity card with him.

So does Shula's name. And Shula has been invited.

And Marino.

Ireland is toast. Ross pretty much gave that away in that interview.

 

and the one person who has been completely silent in all of this is.....ta da ! Ireland.

Yeah I noticed that...he's mentioned everyone by name except Ireland. Unless he very briefly mentioned it.

Ireland has basically turned into Lord Voldemort.

 

i am so happy, it's just too bad it took this to unveil his incompetence.

 

Uh Ross just gained more respect from me after that press conference despite how uncomfortable he is on the podium. The guy clearly shows that money isn't a factor on bringing a respectable organization in Miami, that "committee" is obviously going to get paid and he doesn't care he will write the check if it helps the Dolphins.

What I got out of that press conference as well is that Richie Incognito and Ireland are both goners, which is good IMO.

I'm shocked to see Curtis Martin's name in that list of committee members.

 

My negative view of Ross is tied into his unwillingness to get rid of Ireland, more than it has to do with all his other missteps as the owner of the Dolphins. If he is finally ready to end his relationship with Ireland and hopefully hire a GM who can come in and turn this organization into a winner. I will certainly have a lot more respect for him as an owner than I have had since the took over majority ownership of the team over four years ago.

Even if he does fire Ireland, it will have been two years too late, but better late than never.
