Stopped some 3rd and longs and R.Matthews looks like a starter to me. He competes.

 

This could be the biggest half of Dolphin football in decades. This half can determine our seasons fate, Philbins fate and Irelands fate.

A loss tonight would be another black eye and continue the nearly assured shame that Dolphin fans have faced for the better part of a decade.

We need to win this game to keep our playoff hopes alive and to show the NFL that we can recover from adversity.

That Drive to me is THill, not comfortable w/Wallace, is with Matthews

 

i really dont understand why matthews doesnt get on the field more, every time he has had a chance he has has flashed a lot of potential IMO.

Wallace isn't Houdini, he wasn't landing in bounds on that one.

 

Any of you calling this a critical game given the circumstances? I most definitely do.

 

Easy to say that now that's hes put up really solid numbers tonight, but lets not forget, Gibson was doing the exact same thing, in that same role before getting hurt.

They need to run the offense up-tempo, it's clear. Why do they choose to go the overencumbered and overwrought route all the time? Dink and dunk is fine, eventually someone is going to miss a tackle or jump a route they shouldn't have.

Anybody think Martin played like crap for the whole season just to spite the team?? He was so bad it really just looked like it was on purpose.

Can we treat every offensive possession from here on out, as a two minute drill type drive?

This offense really tends to flourish in that situation.

 

The reaction to that pass is the typical knee jerk reaction when things are going bad. Yes, it was a bad pass, but every quarterback has those. Some on here act like he does that everytime he throws the ball down the field. If he did, he wouldn't be in the top 10 in the league in accuracy percentage on down the field throws.

 

Normally I won't subscribe to the "big half / big game / must-win" mentality, but I must agree. These guys' asses are on the line.

 

Lamar Miller? You have better odds of Flynn throwing for 6 TD's than Miller getting a TD tonight

Tannehill's 12th passing TD of the season, 13th overall. He now has over 2000 yards passing as well.

We have ZERO yards rushing in the half.

 

I think the three best players are CLAY, Mathews and Miller. I love the Mathews kid he has heart.

I'm just wondering whatever happened to that quick strike 1, 2, 3 and throw offense that Philbin has supposedly been putting in for past year or two. I honestly don't see any change at all.

 

I dont get the hate for Ross really... that interview seemed pretty darn good of him?

 

What was his excuse last year?

 

I honestly thought Tannehill actually did bang Martin's sister with the way he was "protecting" his blindside.

 

After seeing the replay his momentum was taking Tannehill to the right. He wasn't stepping upfield when he threw it that's why it drifted out of bounds. I thought initially it was a flat out poor throw but the pressure forced him right.

 

No b/c They will start sending Db blitzes, what we need is to get the Rb's involved in the passing game to make their Lb's hesitate on their reads

 

The vultures will continue to drive the narrative no matter what he does or doesn't say tonight IMO.
