Philbin didn't do the drafting.

Philbin was given a sack of crap and was forced to adapt to a WR diva that doesn't even fit his style of coaching.

Funny how every other WR looks good with Tannehill, including 2nd and 3rd string backups, while Wallace continues to do his best Sammie Smith impression on the field.

Quickly becoming one of my most hated Dolphins of all time.

 

- Jerry & Clabo, you're bad at your jobs.
- Wheeler that was incredibly stupid.
- Mike Wallace you....you are a lazy POS.

 

I think that's the most embarrassing part to me. a 4-4 team goes into an almost neutral winless team's stadium and chokes on *****.

This OL man wow... can't run block... can't pass block... it's a wonder how we even have 4 wins!

Clabo and Jerry are lucky if they belong on the 3rd string unit! Any third string unit!

 

Well, I looked it up and the least yards rushing is -53 so we didn't get that record. That's something positive

 

If we score 7 on that INT, we win the game.

Oh well. Hopefully, HOPEFULLY this signals the change we've wanted for years. A GM that has never assembled a winning coaching staff or team is GONE!!!

The fact that we didn't get the play off right before the 2-minute warning bugs me. We were set at 2:05 and the Bucs were running off the field, but for whatever reason, Tanny didn't call for the snap and so the Bucs got a chance to make their substation and make a few changes for the 2-minute warning. We did that in the Bills and Ravens game too, IIRC. It's a completely idiotic thing that we do.

Also, our hurry-up offense is stupid. We take like 30 seconds to run a play in a hurry-up. That's how long it takes the Broncos to run their normal offense.

I cant fathom how anyone left on these boards could support that pathetic excuse of a GM, and someone that has brought shame to this franchise with his attitude and the perception around it.

 

Wallace will get blamed, the plain fact is Tannehill just is NOT comfortable throwing the ball to Wallace deep down the field, his timing is just piss.

What I've noticed is it takes Tannehill at least a year of working with a Wr to be comfortable with them and what they do on the field.

I do think Ireland is a dead man walking as his offensive line is just bad, has been for years, it should not take 1st rd picks to stock an offensive line, yet that is the only success he has had.

That tells me he does not know what he is doing, and should be replaced.

 

The hilarious thing is we shipped Marshall out of town to end up with Mike Wallace. If we're going to have a diva WR with an attitude he should at least be good.

This is all on Ireland, and Philbin. Ireland built this roster. Philbin let the crap go on in the lockerroom, sure he may not have been 100% aware, but that's his job, he's got to have the pulse of his team.

This team came out tonight... flat out pathetic. Philbin continues to allow Sherman to **** the bed with his playcalling. Continues to allow Coyle to do the same old thing and give up big plays, and third downs, we got gashed by no name RB's tonight FFS...

The only people we should be turning on, is our entire coaching staff, and GM.

 

You mean why would you underthrow a hail mary to Mike Wallace? Wallace had the speed to run under it if we had a halfway decent QB. Thill is completely inconsistant. We would have a better record with Matt Moore.

Miami is making Jamie Dukes look half smart. Wheeler, Wallace and Ellerbe. Hell, I am a Georgia graduate and Ellerbe isn't getting it done. Somebody in this organization is going to spin this in good way. Good comeback etc Just blow it up and I generally am an analyzer. Not tonight. It a real emotional letdown.

Wallace needs to be benched. Let him sit there and watch people not drop balls and try to catch them.

 

Best most balanced team won... Tanny haters what do you want this kid to do? Put the entire game on his shoulders with an OL like that, a no2 WR, back up TE's, poor RB, a waste of space one trick pony WR, another waste of space RB. Poor OC nearly forgot...

I say well done Tanny for even giving us a shot.

 

The whole thing started when they decided to get rid of the old leaders and put in brady bunch. Reggie was one of the best guys of the bunch and really relished being a leader on the offense, but they just had to drop him for Cheech and Chong.

Always forgotten in the equation. The same man lighting it up week after week in Chicago, with relative quit.

Brandon Marshall somewhat fixed himself in Miami when he disclosed his illness and was still shipped off, only to regain his elite WR status. Imagine if Tannehill was throwing to Brandon instead of this scrub?

I dont know how anyone can blame Tanny for this loss. Him and Matthews were the only two bright spots of the entire game.

 

Have to disagree re the ultimate responsibility , that falls on the GM imo .

We waited too long for the inevitable imo , but hey all the pro Ireland posters can blame the realists.

 

I barely care anymore. All the losing has made me immune to it.
