we are in 7th place in the playoff standings, we just need to stay the course.

Who knows, maybe once we get into the playoffs, we could do what the Giants did back in 2007.

Well, we need to do better than the course. Because right now, the course is another season of 7-9 mediocrity standing on the outside looking in. The course also involves an extremely porous O-Line that is going to get our QB wrecked.

    The course needs to change.

I just remember Erick Spoelstra saying stay the course a lot so I thought I would say it too, we really do need a quick fix on the oline though.

We are not the 2007 Giants. They had a bad start but were loaded with talent. We had a good start and the worst offensive line in the league. You don't build an offensive line during the season.

I hate to say it but, I'd rather tank at this point. the better our record the bigger the chance is that the entire band of idiots gets "one more chance". 7-8/8-8 year after year in the NFL is a death spiral. We are not a 5-11 team but it would not hurt me if that was our record. Blow up the offensive line Bears style in the offseason and this is a 10 win team moving forward.

Dude, seventh playoff seed? Cue Jim Mora. We can't even win a game against an 0-8 team. Everybody goes out there and fails repeatedly. You saw that.

the only reason we're that close is due to the rest of the afc's incompetence. Im really upset because it seems the jets might be able to get in. Their schedule here on out is garbage. Miami is actually their toughest game(s) beside carolina.

That said, knocking the jets out of the playoffs in week 17 is almost as good as getting in if it comes to that...

Stay the course? You sound like Erik Spoelstra... Only he has a lot more to work with.

Playoffs? Don't talk about playoffs. Are you kidding me? Playoffs? I'm just hoping we can win a game, another game.

Yeah, we need to win the next 3 games though. Chargers, Panthers, at Jets. That is no easy task. Team better get their heads out of their asses if they want to have a shot. I don't expect it because the offensive line sucks too much, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Making the playoffs?......Really?.......Just to get blown out and embarrassed in the 1st rnd?......no thanks, take a better draft position and get some talented O-Linemen.

Beat the chargers and I will chalk up the buc game as emotionally spent...beat the panthers and I will be ready to forgive.

If the option is there of either being a playoff team or getting a higher draft pick I'll take the playoffs 100 times out of 100 without hesitation. Otherwise, why the hell would I bother watching? I don't love sports to hope we get to pick earlier in drafts.

The homer in me seriously wonders if that's exactly what happened last night. If the team was just mentally and emotionally fried from all the drama they had to deal with all week. Wouldn't surprise me if that game was the cherry on top of a disastrous week for the team.

I see your point, and I can respect it.....I watch every second of every game, but "just making the playoffs" doesn't excite me anymore when I know my team sucks and will not get past rnd 1. When the team shows signs of playing well and beating good teams.......then I look forward to a nice playoff run. Not the Sh#t I am watching this year.

Things change so fast in the NFL that you never know what can happen. The light can come on for the team all of a sudden and they start winning again like they did in the beginning of the year.

That's why we watch, because as down as we all are right now, you just never know.

Beat the Pats and he'll jerk off the entire team.

    Cam Wake, twice.

7th place isn't a bad place to be in, all things considered.

Right now, are O-line is crap..... but at the same time, we did beat teams like the Colts and Bengals.... so why the heck not? Playoffs are still a possibility.

Everyone here would like to hear that the Dolphins are going to the playoffs. Problem is, we've been in this dance before for nearly 2 decades now. We know it's another 7-9 season at best. I rather be 4-12 than 7-9.

Sounds like you're saying the GM did a good job with the exception of one unit.

Won't be in 7th place in two weeks. San Diego and Carolina should put the nail in the coffin. Not trying to be Debbie Downer, just being realistic. At that point they're 4-7. And still have the Jets x2, Bills, Steelers and Pats.
