My buddy started Andre Johnson and TY Hilton in my money league... 2/3 of his points came from those two players.
I was down by 57 then TY Hilton came in saves the ****in day with 47 points. Now all I need is Forte to get me 11 points tonight.
Hilton is a starter from here on out. I'm lucky enough to have him on my team even though he didn't save me last week, my opponent put up a cool 130.
Well I only need 2 from Miami d to secure a win. So I hope they get you hour 25. Traded golden tate for Roddy white who I think will be a target monster down the stretch. White had a bad game yesterday but played 56 of 58 snaps which means Seattle just did a good job on him.
Thanks to Dez Bryant's pathetic contribution last night, I'm in jeopardy of losing tonight. I've got Wallace, L. Miller and the Dolphins D. Based on those 3 averages for the year, I'd still lose by 5. I need someone to step up big time. I'm 7-2 going against a 3-6 team. One of my two losses was against him in week 2. Can't have it happen again!
That was my logic. We've already seen tate's upside and its decent but not better then a healthy roddy white who gets Tampa (revis) and then a bunch of soft matchups from 12-15.
then I think you've got a decent shot if it's based on the average for the year considering all 3 are performing better than average lately.
Wonder if Harvin coming back will give Tate better opportunities against 1 on 1 which he's been capitalizing on lately.
I figured Harvin coming back would decrease targets though. Roddy white seemed like the better upside play to me.
On the flip side, yes, it could decrease Tate's targets but it also could increase the quality of his targets and perhaps open up more big play receptions like we're seeing with Riley Cooper. Tate's had 17 targets the past 3 games [5.7 per game] with Sidney Rice absent. With Rice present, Tate saw 6.6 targets per game [7 games]. Currently Seattle is 31st in passing attempts, so if there happens to be an uptick in offensive production & efficiency with Harvin on the field it could translate to Wilson throwing more often and perhaps Tate seeing more scoring opportunities.
I have Dez and Witten, last night was rough. My team is pretty stacked and I'm almost guaranteed to get the first seed but having an undefeated fantasy season would have been pretty cool.
The issue for Tate isnt targets or YPC its TD's and catches. Wilson seems to target Tate really long or really short. Theres not a lot of in-between. Plus Seattle is a run heavy team and I dont see them changing that even when Harvin comes back. I think Atlanta has more of a fantasy friendly offense right now for a wr with Jones and Gonzalez hurt and constantly playing from behind.
Still need about 30 points. Can't believe I'm gonna lose to this guy again. Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk
I'm starting Rivers and Allen, how much do I win by this week? In all seriousness I do hate playing guys against Miami but don't have much choice and it won't affect the game. Miami has done better against the pass than the run and I'm still holding hope they can win so we'll see. edit: Somehow Riley Cooper was still a FA so I picked him up and may give him the start instead.
I got Riley Cooper as a FA a week and a half ago. I was pretty surprised myself. I'm going to start him over Torrey Smith today because the weather in Chicago is supposed to be pretty bad for passing.
If youre looking for a good last minute flex play Rashad Jennings is a go for Oakland today. He has 22 touches each of the last few games
I thought about Bernard Pierce because he's supposedly going to see an increased workload but I couldn't bring myself to pull Pierre Thomas. For a guy competing with a couple of others for touches he really gets his money's worth.
Got 3 WRs and 2 spots. Mike Wallace, Alshon Jeffery, Percy Harvin Wallace could go off....could not.... Jeffery could be playing in a tornado.... Harvin could have 10 snaps....he could score on 3 of them....former team...first game back..... Any advice?!
I have a gut feeling (thats all it is) ingram may finally take hold of that job. Jeffery and Wallace. No brainer. You cant get a lot of points in 15 snaps
Better Flex play: Rashad Jennings vs Dallas or Bobby Rainey vs Carolina? McFadden does come back for Oakland but Jennings is going to be the primary back it seems and hes been red hot. Rainey had the big game 2 weeks ago vs ATL but stunk last week (due to crumby blocking).
What kind of shoddy second rate place do you guys run here where there's such a delay on the Post Quick Reply button, Matt?!!
It was on holiday! Post Quick Reply was entitled to Turkey also you gobblely gook. What kind of crap ISP do you have it took a few hours to post a reply?
RG3 vs the Giants or Tanne vs the Jets? RG3 has been more boom or bust while Tannehill is good for 10-18 points a week. Both are below average pass defenses but the Redskins passing 0 has been pretty bad lately. What do you all think? I need this win to stay in the hunt! haha
Tough to predict because the NYG D has been better lately but we dont know which group is going to show up for them, the one that shut down Philly or the one that got destroyed the 1st 6 games. Id probably go RG3 simply because Miami has a lot of trouble converting in the redzone so id take my chances with the boom or bust
