Sort of, put it this way, I study pass rushers, Dio is blur quick..he lacks sand in his bucket

Can understand why Coyle does not want him playing a tonne yet, Kraken is like a chainsaw, Dio is more like a scalpel, his foot placement lacks a sort of ground that makes him powerful..he plays tall but fast.

Need to see him drop his ***, extend his arms and get his feet moving, that would make him unblockable

Daniel Thomas showed why he's still on the team today, a few nice runs. When he is running that well, and not getting touched behind the LOS, he can be pretty damn good. He's a down hill runner for sure. As opposed to Lamar Abdul Jabbar... or is it Karim Abdul Miller? You know the guy who looks really good when he's running with nobody around him. But then if anyone approaches his bubble, his cocoon of protection, his aura, he's heading to the ground. They really are two completely different backs.

Not sure, he plays fast, but not with leverage..yet

He has forward and reverse gears, he just does not play with leverage

if that cost us the game I would have benched RT at the start next week and tell him he can play again when he gets his head out of his ***

it really does seem that on a lot of runs that our defense does give up that our d line is sliding the wrong way, it just seems like our d line play calls are just trying to do too much. If they just play straight up, they should have the talent to out play their opponent. Why do they feel the need to out game plan them too?

It's good to have a win. That missed Wallace pass was really frustrating. Surely Tannehill can throw harder than that. I had to check to see if Pennington was still the QB on that one. Loved the Charles Clay TD and it gave my fantasy team a much needed boost.

Kaepernick literally just did the same against the saints and it DID lose. Think Harbuagh benches him?

If you bench a QB over 1 bad decision...no matter how costly....that is poor coaching.

It's a gap-fit scheme. If one guy gets blocked to the point he misses his gap, overruns his gap, can't hold his gap, it crumbles as it takes away the second level of the defense. Far too often Ellerbe and Wheeler either don't get to their gaps or don't get off blocks. Wheeler, on occasion, overruns his gaps. Today, it was a combination of that and D.J. Fluker damn near beating OV senseless. OV got some revenge in the end with that sack, but his run D was atrocious today.

Reshad Jones also too often seems either late getting to where he's supposed to be or just does not know where he's supposed to be. I think part of that is Kevin Coyle running far fewer bear fronts and playing Jones in the box as frequently as they did last year. Not having a bigger guy in the middle, like Dansby last year, has really hurt.

He's inexperienced still. He knew instantly that he screwed up though if you watched his face. Hartline had a bad day and they were clearly out of sync on that last series.

Something else to keep in mind - He has beaten Luck and has out performed Griffin this season. Also, the Skins don’t have a 1st round pick in 2014 or 2015 by going all in on RG. We have to surround Tannehill with a better OLine and continue to upgrade the weapons around him right now. We know we can win with him, but we can also bring in another college QB in the next offseason or two to push him.

The staff made some smart adjustments getting him out and on the move and also lining up Wallace elsewhere. Hoping they continue to do these things. Rather die by trying something new than doing the same ole same ole...

Kaepernick has been pretty bad this year. To be fair, he's missing a lot of his weapons, but he's been bad.

So has Matt Ryan and Eli Manning...But if you bench them over a bad season collectively as a team then you are nuts.

Yes he has , all in all I think we need to be at the least, ok with 17 and personally I feel good about him and us going forward.

Seems pretty poised with everything that has unfolded and has made progress and don't see that halting anytime soon.

throw what tannehills dealt with at most qbs, even veterans, and they shatter. Yet, here we are, in a playoff hunt.

Tannehill is our man. I have zero doubt.

A lot of individuals out there trying to make a big play as opposed to doing their job and letting someone else make the tackle. It's hurting us every game.

I'm pretty confident in Ryan Tannehill. He's basically been the offense most every week of this season. He's not had a lot of favorable advantages around him, say the way Andy Dalton does, and he's still winning games and improving. There's still 2-3 head-scracthers per game, but I can live with that given what he's working with and the coaching staff around him.

JT was pretty raw his first year. I'd suspect Dion would have similar rookie numbers if he was allowed to play more.

Sort of D22, his last two plays of the game could have cost us the game.

This is something he has to realize, being good on 95 of 100 plays is just good enough to get you beat via the offense.

How could he slide in bounds to keep the clock running then take the dummy sack/stop the clock on a failed rollout.

No Grimes, that could have cost us the game, Tannehill needs to realize he takes possession of games and the team's fate rides on him being 99 out of 100, not 95 out of a hundred

Oh I agree, not saying he can't get better, am saying atm can see him not getting as much playing time, watching Dio go from DE to MLB...damn...wow...and he can cover...

If I were Coyle...I'd say some **** in public to motivate him but privately would thank the stars above

He realized it padre, look at his reaction after he went out of bounds. He is still learning out there. You can see it every single game. He still needs much more playing time to continue to learn and get experience. This kinds of plays are typical of young QB. You can see he is aware enough to know he has to slide down in bounds with the early play. But you also saw how in a pressure situation, he kinda let his emotion cloud his reason. He knew it instantly.

You have to give him time to learn, because you can clearly see the upside there, only waiting to be polished.

Yeah, that's why I don't get him not seeing more time. It's not like he does poorly when he plays, he's actually very good. He's very quick, he applies pressure on many of his plays and I think he's actually pretty good against the run.

To a point Sumlit, he has to be always "on" that sort of eye of the tiger.

Guy like that, mistakes are inexcusable, when it is internalized, those mistakes never happen

The QB takes 100% of the snaps. Ryan needs to make better decisions at the end of the game 100% of the time.
It was just one play (this game) but the OL and his play cost us in the past this season.

It's just a mistake borne out of inexperience. With more games under his belt, and more experience in different situations, he will not be overwhelmed so easily and will be able to stay cool and calm enough to make the logical play.
You know he is aware and smart enough to realize what the situation calls for, because he did it just 3 plays before. That time, he just was too caught up with trying to make a play, that he let some things out of his mind.

With time he'll learn to be more cool under these situations. This is not a mistake that belongs only to Ryan Tannehill. This is a mistake typical of young QBs.

Just notice it, understand it, learn from it, and move on.

I feel pretty good moving forward with Ryan Tannehill from here on out. Given the circumstances, bad o-line, Wallace underachieving, Gibson injured, Keller injured, he's done well...He's had to make chicken salad out of chicken crap all year long and he's doing it.
