Manliness and big cup of STFU for all of the "positive" emotionalism. And how did that make you feel Billy? I bet it hurt you emotionally?
Your totally ignoring the point to attack the poster ? whats going on with you lately ? Team struggling is no excuse. We need you back !
There is a difference between being tough (like Don Shula) with motivational yelling, and being nasty. especially if you don't have the success to back it up. I didn't read the article so I don't know what this sounds like, but since it Rutgers, i'd go with nasty? If someone yells every name in the book at you then I don't blame them for quitting or causing a problem. Coaches are supposed to motivate...telling someone to "get their head out of their ***" or "wake the f--k up" or to take a lap is motivating. Calling a player a "p***y" or "Motherf--ker" or "s--thead" doesn't help and gets old fast and just screams that a coach or boss is having a power trip and has no idea what they are doing.
I agree. I used to do the opposite with some of my poorer hitters sometimes though and tell them to take one strike before swinging at a pitch if the pitcher wasn't showing much control of his pitches.
Wonderful athlete was I, lacked aggression at the plate Constantly got beaned, would draw walks etc, they wanted to amp my aggression up at the plate..reality was..they more or less were confusing me

The same official had been accused of that before several years ago, but there was no evidence that could backup the accusation. This time, another player heard it, and there is also audio evidence.
