What was the music that cbs was playing when they went to breaks today during the game? Is that their music or is it from something else. U know. The overly dramatic music?

Anyone want to continue to try to tell us OV can't rush the passer?

If I were Tanny I would really start trying to figure out throwing the deep ball. If he can ever get that down we would be a tough offense to stop.

He certainly can in spots. Just not as consistently as Jordan.

Very impressive sack against Fluker though. That was abuse.

Was sick throughout the game so I wasn't able to watch it but just glad to know Tannehill was able to come out of the game in one piece. It is the Charger's defense though which is not very good, next week Pouncey needs to be there.

    12/29/13.

    7-8 Jets at 7-8 Fins.

Winner is worst playoff team in years.

Flexed to SNF for the world to see.

    Please let this happen

Well, to me even Clay's Td run..he was leading with the ball...you know sooner or later it is a strip fumble waiting to happen

I think this deep ball issue is a timing issue with Wallace. Tannehill is a lot closer to hitting those to Hartline (I tend to think Hartline should have caught that 1st quarter pass). Wallace is abnormally fast and Tannehill just has to trust that he can't overthrow Wallace. Having said that, Wallace can come back for some of these passes and at the very least draw some PI calls.

Is it me or did it appear as if Hartline was slow coming out of his break on that missed 4th quarter out pattern?

Yeah I saw that too. Sometimes you have to let mistake happen to young players in order to find out if they have what it takes to learn from them. Clay will do that again, until he pays for it. Then he'll learn and get better, or he won't.

That is unacceptable, Clay and Bline need to go through the Lovie Smith "whack the ball" training

I agree. Tannehill needs to throw it further, but its like all Wallace can do is wait for it to hit him in the belly... Stop, jump for it, get hit by the db or catch it higher, should be at least some PIs if not more catches too.

Not really. Four 8-8 teams have made the playoffs the past 10 years.

Another thing as well...all of our deep passes are along the sidelines which leaves little room for error. Take Luck for example, he hits Hilton quite often out of the slot. This leaves some margin for error and allows the WR to adjust to the pass.

Was about time... Fluker had whooped his *** most of the night. Great play by OV when we needed one. Agree on the inconsistency. 2014 we're going to be in really good shape with some of these young guys maturing and taking lumps now.

If it is unacceptable for players to make mistakes, how do you expect them to learn, and more importantly, how do you expect them to take risks?

Making mistakes is not and should never be unacceptable. Not learning from said made mistakes however, is.

As I recall, JT99 as a rookie was leaner and less muscular than Jordan is now. He eventually grew to Jordan's current size. So, down the road, Jordan should be/could be heavier than #99 ever was.

I wasn't shocked at all. Some love to hate on Vernon, but he has shown he can be a solid piece on our defense.

Also, he got pressure on Rivers on a handful of plays, including the final play of the game.

I've been sensing for a while now that people don't like him because he takes snaps away from Jordan.

I haven't been a fan because for the most part he isn't a great pass rusher and has been bullied on run plays. Which is the reason supposibly that Dion isn't on the field.

Wasn't able to key on Vernon for run plays, but this was a very good night rushing the passer from him. Some of the quickest I've seen. He has always looked better standing up. Wish they would move him to Misi's role.

If you haven't been a fan of his for a while, that's fine. But I sense a bitterness from fans aimed at him for taking snaps away from Jordan. Vernon is a better pass rusher than he was last year, but his run game needs work. But Jordan isn't any better in that regard either.

As I've been saying from the start. They should try to get them on the field TOGETHER more often. You could move either guy around and put them both at LB at times as well.

imo, people dont like him because he was a marginal Ireland rookie and he got off to a poor start. OV has played well over the past 6 or 7 games. The guy is going to end up with 8 or 9 sacks... that is not a bad seasons work... he does need to continue to improve on his run defense

I'm surprised he isn't a more popular player amongst the fans considering he went to college at Miami and has played there his entire life.

If we win out or close to it we are in the playoffs. Not only that, but we will end up playing cindy or Indy, teams we beat and could beat again. I'm optimistic (to say the least) buy hey considering all the crap and the fact that we should have 2 more wins than we do and we can still make the playoffs says alot. It's our wildcard spot to lose

Against the CHARGERS. Not the PATRIOTS. That's where Ireland needs replacing. I'm done with Ireland. Not said it before. Take the blinkers off. The odd win gets Ireland a week off. Not for me. Call me a realist. I know I call myself one.
