Perhaps, the machete to the knee was not picnic, ditto the power bomb via broken chair off of the porch etc
With all due respect, sir, that's probably trickling down one thigh...DJ can certainly clear up the "left or right" issue.
I think that Carolina becomes our tenth razor tight game out of eleven this season. Coin flip. Hope that Newton makes the bonehead plays that he will about 50% of the time and not the crazy athletic ones he makes the other half.
Amen. With the exception of the New Orleans game, this is the only game on the schedule I'm worried about. The TB game didn't surprise me all that much, as I had been watching what the Bucs were doing and how close they actually were to winning a bunch of games...they're much better than their record IMO. The NE, Buf and Balt games were blown and should have been wins. We gave them away. I kinda worry about us doing the same against Carolina...their defense is playing lights-out right now.
Oh I know. They are intensely excited about new england and new orleans. We are a "must win easy" type of team. We def can surprise them.
I am not excited when the Miami Dolphins are at .500. This is nothing to celebrate. Mediocrity is not exciting.
The fans have really lowered their standards...what's sad is that .500 is a better record than what we've finished with the last 4 seasons lol
I love it when we win. If this thread was called "HEY, WE WON, YAY!", I'd give it a fist bump. But this thread is saying "HEY, WE'RE MEDIOCRE, YAY!". I just can't get behind that sentiment.
Maybe you should have read the OP then. The thread is about the playoff push, which is why we're excited. I don't even pay attention to the record for the most part. I pay attention to the fact we're tied for the final playoff spot.
Reading the OP before flaming the thread? Where's the fun in that? When those types of people come to the forum to be negative, it really doesn't matter what the title is or what anyone had to say...it's only about "wah wah".
Sorry dude. I'd love to have optimism, but it's looooooong gone. Seriously what have you seen that makes you think this team is any different than previous 7-9 squads? I see none.
Well, favorable schedule mainly. We play 4 games against .500 or worse teams. Yes, we're .500 too, and im not saying we win them all, but i like our odds. Jets imploded big time today. 3 picks, 2 fumbles and 4 sacks on geno? Woof. Im really hoping for 9-7. You're absolutely right that 7-9 would be 'same ole dolphins', but our matchups don't look terrifying. Even the patriots game won't be a must win for them seeing as Denver will have homefield wrapped up i think. We've got to take care of business against the jets mainly. win both those and I think we make the playoffs. I don't fear Geno in the slightest. Im actually quite excited to see our defense against him. Fun fact: he hasn't thrown a td since oct. 20th. and then it was only 1. you'd have to go back to week 4 for a multi td game.
