Amazon is supposed to do it too, though their deal only applies to ps4 games. All told (not counting discounts on gift cards), I got 4 games for $145 (Killzone, Knack, NBA2k14, and Lego Marvel for my wife). That's a little separate from the b2g1 free though.
Yea, you have to go into the store. If you want to buy online, amazon is the better bet. http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.ht...68PPN0JQEE5HBW96Z7&ref_=acs_ux_hsb_5s_1_VG-HP

So I opened the controller, nice feel, a little wider than the previous. The touchpad is interesting, you can push it in like L3/R3....R1-2/L1-2 feel closer if that makes sense....
Looks like the NDA has lifted and reviews are coming in. So far the verdict is an incomplete, because Sony is still enabling features via firmware update. So far they're up to firmware 1.5.
Weren't they estimating it is 30-50% more powerful than the XB1...I thought I read that somewhere....
Nice. Enjoy your new consoles gentlemen. Don't forget to give the rest of us plebs the details so we can vicarious experience launch day.
I won't even get much time with it sadly (and even less with the xbox one) because I'm in the midst of a move.

Are you sure you don't want to get 2k14 instead? Reviews so far say it's a lot better. Videos have shown that as well, IMO. Plus, it's already great on current gen. But if you want to pick up Live, please tell us what it's like.
Finally got the PS4 setup and after some initial login trouble I played the first mission of Killzone. Damn, graphics look great IMO. Not sure how much fun the game is yet, since the first mission is a bit of a movie/tutorial. My Wife is now playing the Lego Marvel game and having a blast. Of all the Lego games I have seen her play the graphics seem to be much better, but it could just be the style of this game, not sure. I personally can't wait to play NBA2k14.
Wasn't war thunder supposed to be a launch title as well? I haven't played an NBA title since NBA Live 09, and was impressed. I think I tried NBA 2k10 or 2k11 and was disappointed.
I was interested in seeing what EA did as well. After watching a couple gameplay videos, the game looks absolutely laughable. Looks like 2K will rob me of my money yet again.
I have literally been jamming this thing non-stop.....My life the past 2 days has been work, then PS4 mixed with a little eating and sleeping. The console is much smaller than the 3. I gotta say though it is pretty noisy, not that I mind, but my components are in the closet away from me and when I put it on pause I can hear that thing pretty clearly. It seems the load times are going to be exponentially quicker. When you had to do the update right out of the box it was done seamlessly and in no time and mine is wireless. The UI is pretty simple, it actually seems like Sony did away or made more easy the menu. There doesn't seem to be that many icons as opposed to the 3. I don't do much social media on there so I really don't care about that stuff. I still haven't been able to log into PSN only because I tried once and it didn't work and just wanted to play the game hahah. The Dualshock now that I have actually played with it and not just held it, is EASILY the best controller they have ever put out. The thing just melts into your hand. I have been playing Ghosts so it doesn't use the touchpad unit so I can't be sure of its function. As for Ghost, the game starts off pretty slow (campaign mode) but I am about half way through (should be more with 3 days of playing I know) but I have been looking at the levels thoroughly for details. The game is pretty no doubt, load times in between levels are quick and there is storyline action to keep you busy waiting for it to load....I had a hard time in the beginning trying to decipher the colors on the LED strip that goes across the console itself in only one aspect. There is a long thin LED bar doing the length of the console where the finish switches from matte to glossy. It is an indicator LED. I mean so far it really only has 2 colors, one is like a "cool blue" meaning on, and the other is orange for "stand-by or sleep". I got confused because when it is in that mode it sounds like the thing is still on!! All in all I like it so far, can't wait for more **** to come out on it....
I wasn't able to pick mine up launch day. Went on Saturday , still owed about $200 on it. The Wife paid the balance, bought me Ghosts and paid for a year of PSN Plus. Then went to her Sisters for a hen night. Played Ghosts from 5:00 PM until 3:00 AM. I've heard the complaints about noise, mine is very quiet. LOVE the controller, it's brilliant. I need some damn games though.
Been playing a lot more Knack, Resogun, and Killzone. I don't know how Knack scored so low personally, not that it is an amazing game, but should be in the 7's IMO. Man, Killzone looks better each time I play and get to a different area. I really like the gunplay and the OWL rocks too. KZ really utilizes the new controller well IMO. Remote play with the Vita seems to work really well too.
Good to hear all the positives especially in regard to the graphical improvement (was worried it would be slighter than it appears to be). Now if they ever come back in stock. Eagerly awaiting the forum verdict on the Xbox One in the next week or so.
I would now like to buy a PS4. Got some $ on Amazon for xmas... of course, the lowest price on there is $599... Can't buy it anywhere online for "regular price". WTF?
I think I just ordered it on Amazon.com... for the regular price. you just have to sit there and keep hitting refresh until a new one pops up. whether or not this actually works and I'm not hit with the dreaded "we're out of stock" email remains to be seen.
Sony's talking up Playstation Now at CES. Video at link. And if you don't know what Playstation Now is…
Yes. Instead of making the console backwards compatible, you just stream the game and play it over the Internet, like a video game version of Netflix.
OnLive is about as relevant as Ouya. Or Phantom. No, you really should continue to feel bad about not playing it. I mean... come on.
