Hey LB, any thoughts on the win today?

    No? Didn't think so.

Actually I was very impressed with Sherman's game today. If he keeps this up, he'll be on to something.

The biggest issue with the defence right now is the leaky run defence. This has to be fixed but they did only give up 16 points and iced the game.

I know a lot fans want change for the sake if change but sometimes we have to step back and look at the bigger picture.

I was happy like a school girl getting a text from a hot boy, but really though, I know in my heart that we can go far in the playoffs once we make it there, Tannehill has grown so much and Charles Clay, how much he has developed.

I'm telling you all, this team is going to be really good next year.

They can be good now if they keep playing smart, hard football like they did today. I thought Sherman actually called a nice game today.

Oh, trust me, we are good now, but I mean like Broncos good for next year, can't wait to see what our rookie CBs can do next year, Coyle is still pissing me off though.

DT made me happy, I'm still behind him, he showed some heart today.

I think we saw a team today similar to what we saw the first 3 games of the year. They didn't play 30 minutes today, they played all 60.

I've always been a DT supporter. Probably because everyone hates him and I have a soft spot for players who are much-maligned. I've always been like that too. The guy certainly has his faults but he'll also have a game like he did today. As you said, all heart.

That's your argument? The OC and DC suck? Two can play at that game:

    Jonathan Martin sucks
    John Jerry sucks
    Tyson Clabo sucks
    Daniel Thomas sucks
    Lamar Miller sucks
Mike Wallace sucks (relative to the cap space he's taking)
    Wheeler sucks
    Ellerbie sucks
    Egnew sucks
I could go on and on...

No mention of it what so ever on CBS, my Nephew listened to it on the radio and again nothing about a banner and he was hoping too hear something.

Why would something so ridiculously trivial and insignificant be mentioned on CBS or the radio?

I was at the game and didn't see it or hear about it. Sounds like it was kind of a bust. Oh well I having a feeling Ireland's fate is already sealed. Some of you seem to be getting a real good workout hopping back and forth over the "Ireland fence."

The irony is the Dolphins have the best chance to the last wild card spot, and quite possibly 7-9, 8-8 is all that's needed to clinch it. How do you fire the GM of a playoff team, you CAN if you're saying 8-8 still doesn't cut it but will that happen? NO. I think he's safe barring a missed playoffs. All of a sudden Ireland is rebuilding the O-Line...AGAIN. Tough pill to swallow. But I brought plenty of alcohol.

This "scandal" changes all the rules.

Ross can effectively fire anyone he wants to even with a playoff trip, because of this scandal and no one will say much about it.

  29. anlgp

    anlgp ↑ ↑ ↓ ↓ ← → ← → B A

    Truth.

Who's gonna say that the firing isn't because of locker room turmoil and that Ross is just trying to clean the place up from top to bottom to reshape the franchise?

No, and I'm not offended. I admit I was looking forward to seeing it. My reaction to this thread is more of just amusement of how some of the folks in the middle flip flop on Ireland based on the results of Miami's last game. Last week being anti-ireland was all the rage. Now it's back to just something crazy "haters" do.

You can want ireland fired AND think this banner/ireland hate is stupid.

If the team plays well down the stretch no one is going to buy the Martin-Incognito issue as a credible reason to fire anyone.

I think that's an exaggeration Blitz, I think most of us think Ireland is still on the hook, I believe what your seeing is the hope that the coach shows that he can make a run with this roster under these circumstances..oline/ scandal.
