How much do you think the current culture affects players like RT. It seems like in this day and age of instant stats...win now mentality...you dont see the kind of QB swagger like Marino..or Favre. Now guys are so worried about making mistakes where they were like F it..Im fuggin awsome...fire away baby. You see that now..but it takes a few years to come out.

RG3 is a fraud on and off the field, dude rivals Weedon in the lack of accountability department.

Theres also the ...if I toss it up..I dont have to be perfect cuz I know my reciever will go get it. Wallace doesnt instill that at all with RT.

Or maybe he actually believes he needs to improve his play.

I think waiting to see if Wallace gets a step is part of the problem. He needs to see the one on one coverage and trust that Wallace is going to get the step. I went back and watched the video and I think that is what Tannehill is talking about when he said let it rip.

You still have to sort out the play fake, three step drop, then hitch step and throw. We are talking about a throw very few quarterbacks in the history of the NFL can make at that distance and put it on the money. The fact of the matter is on most deep passes in the NFL, the receiver has to come back to the ball some. In fact, there is one school of thought that actually teaches the quarterback to do that because the general feeling is that the receiver has an advantage over the defender in that situation.

    That sounds like Marino advice.

I think this message board is overthinking the deep ball.

I'm fine with this. Let it fly. Good idea. But what's going to happen if they start getting picked? I get the feeling Tannehill can't win either way. Here's to hoping I'm wrong.

Yeah an organization rife with cowardice and lack of accountability.

They say values trickle down from the top.

So if no one told Ryan to say that, and he did it just to insulate Wallace, then the organization is rife with leadership and respect and those values trickled down form the top?

Ck is completely guessing that Ryan was told to take the blame, you know.

  18. I do not really care who takes the blame as long as it gets fixed. RT can be throwing the ball better and Wallace should be adjusting to the throws better. FTR I rather see RT run plays that work and move the chains than try to force the ball to Wallace just to try to make something work with him. Its a waste of a down.
