THey seem to think they have an elite team now since their winning streak. They're unbeatable since they beat the Patriots! Ironic thing is, they had help at home by the officials. If any of them had watched the Dolphins game they'd know we dominated the Patriots at NE before getting the worse screw over by the officials of any team all year. There's been worse calls go against a team this year but never the amount of bad calls. Patriots scored 13 points directly due to the officials keeping drives going. Thats not even counting the offensive PI on Hartline and then the no PI call for Hartline. The fix was in that game, there's absolutely no way they miss all those calls on accident.
Normally we flood teams with x10 this many users. and I'm a troll. I'm here to talk football. I'm not even sure the Panthers have this game, I see it as a trap game.
To be honest, the Dolphins are much better than the 5-5 record they have and the Panthers are better than 7-3.
But isn't saying it is a trap game essentially dissing the Dolphins? To me it's a passive aggressive insult.
I'm saying the Panthers might think "Oh the Dolphins are 5-5 and overlook them a little but, the Dolphins could be 8-2 right now. But, I don't think Rivera is allowing the players to overlook anything http://espn.go.com/blog/carolina-panthers/post/_/id/2284/want-to-discuss-mnf-game-not-here
The Dolphins are a 6-4 team who got badly hosed by the refs vs the Patriots. They straight out got beat by the Saints. The other 3 losses are a direct result of the o-line and Tannehill literally fumbling the game away. Sure, the Dolphins could be 8-2 right now with a competent offensive line and/or a clutch QB but you could say that about a lot of teams. I actually think the Panthers record is better than they are and unlike you, I've watched the Panthers this season and I'm not just using stats to base my opinion like you are the Dolphins. I've seen 7 or 8 of the Panthers games on NFL Rewind. Good defense, mediocre offense. Talent-wise, they're an 8-8/9-7 team. There's a reason they seemingly came out of nowhere after a 1-3 start and thats cause they werent considered an elite team coming into this year and they arent an elite team moving forward. Would it surprise anyone if they missed the playoffs this year? How about next year? Given the talent on the team I think its safe to say that most people wouldnt be surprised if the Panthers went back to being 7-9/9-7 next year.
"unlike me not watching the games" I've not missed a game since 2001. The Panthers lost to the Bills because of a terrible blown coverage. We had the Seahawks game done and over but as our running back was bulldogging his way to the endzone he got hit from behind and fumbled the ball. We are two small mistakes from being 9-1 right now.
I assumed you watched the Panthers lol. I meant you obviously havent seen the Dolphins play much and are relying on stats. Unlike you, I've seen the Panthers play and I'm using my eyes to judge them, not stats. I couldnt even tell you how many ppg or yards the Panthers offense averages but I've seen them enough to know their offense isnt good. If neither team turned the ball over, this would be a 17-14 type game. With Patterson out, the Dolphins defense isnt very good but I think even Nolan Carroll can manage not to get hurt too bad by LaFell and Ginn. Maybe 2 of the most unreliable pass catchers on any single team. For as good as your defense is, the Dolphins would have the best pass rusher and the 2 best corners on the field.
Our offence isn't great, our defense makes it great. I can't even tell you how many times Ginn has returned the Punts/Kickoffs past the 50 or we have forced turnovers and gotten great field position.
It shouldn't be too hard to count the number of times Ginn has returned it past the 50. I took a look at his stats cause I couldn't recall him doing much damage this year and sure enough his return stats arent anything special. I'm sure your defense has set your offense up plenty though. Ginn, not so much. Regardless of the field position your offense has gotten it's still a far cry from "great". The way you Panthers fans talk you'd think it was a monumental task to beat these guys who have a "great" offense that's ranked in the top 3 I'm sure, right? To go along with your great defense and return game and cheerleading and mascot and beer and food. Did I miss any greatness the Panthers (who dont even lead their division) have displayed this year?
