What corner would you be? Thumbs up when things are going well then "I told you so" when it doesn't? Nice.

So you won't address what you're arguing when all you have been doing is screaming how terrible Tannehill is the past couple months? Thanks for wasting my time with your post, and remember:

PS: I haven't bashed the Heat in a long time, I brag about the Heat often. They're the team that keeps Miami respectable.

In reality, Tannehill was the best player on the field. He made passes that were either dropped or weren't converted for 1sts. The second last play, if Wallace never looks to the right, he walks right under it. Bad penalties killed drives, defense leaked at the end, the gameplan at the end of the half was poor and Sturgis again missed a critical field goal.

I understand that the QB gets most of the blame but it's getting ridiculous around here.

Does Tannehill play defense? Did Tannehill drop a touchdown pass with :08 left in the game?

He slightly underthrew Wallace, on a play that gained 50+ yards ANYWAY. I'll say it again, blaming Tannehill for this loss is ****ing idiotic. It's the easy way out.

LOL... yeah, you're attitude has nothing to do with your screen name does it?

You'll scapegoat everyone else before you blame the guy who missed a wide open Wallace deep that cost us 7 points, underthrew Wallace deep twice that left 8 points on the field, threw a bad ball to start the game that got picked and ended a drive, missed a WIDE OPEN Matthews on 3rd & 4 at Carolina's 43 that thwarted a potential score, and severely overthrew Clay on 3rd & 3 on Carolina's 29 with a pass that had no business being attempted when he could've either continued his progressions or tucked and run to extend the drive in hopes of a TD rather than settling for a FG.

It all comes down to the inability to run the ball. That's why we can't win consistently. Same old story.

As Hardkore said, Tannehill is young, the fact he's playing decently without a run game is amazing.

That's absurd, and this post is absurd. Feel free to argue the specifics of my previous post if you like. I'm laying the heaviest blame for the loss on Tannehill, so are you calling me a ****ing idiot?

This fanbase is idiotic. Seriously. The things they expect out of the QB is ridiculous.

There's a reason the likes of Brady and Brees are so efficient...the players around them do their jobs.

Not trying to take away the blame from Wallace on that last play, but even if he catches it I think he would have come up short, ending the game.

Definitely requires no football knowledge to blame the QB for not hitting a bomb every time they throw the ball.

    I feel sorry for them.

    It must suck for them.

I appreciate your belief that Tannehill is a good QB… Hell, how knows maybe one day he will be… but you have to allow other points of view when it comes to THill. Fact of the matter is that he does a lot of things right and he is saddled with a horrible OL. BUT he also has his faults and just because I point them out doesnt make me any less of a Dolphins fan then you. I can say the same exact thing the the Wallace sucks crowd.

I'm starting to think that Tannehill does more with less than any QB in the league. Zero running game, leaky offensive line that takes critical penalties, and very few mismatch players.

Yet he still looks like a competent QB.

The defense with a gift wrapped fg before the half. The defense that allowed a 13 play 80 yrd drive right down our throats to start the second half. Mike Sherman calling 3yrd passing plays on 3rd and long. Mike Sherman calling plays like we are up 3 td's in the second half. Actually looked like we were scared on offense. No urgency...no uptempo.. No need to put up points in the second half. Reshard Jones??!!! Maybe he can buy himself some smarts with all the $$$ he stole from the Phins this year. Fire them all...every single one of them.

To my rational Fin brothers: Tough loss but we can't lose spirit. We are playing way ahead of what any team would be with this O-line. Take care of yourselves and don't raise your blood pressure arguing with trolls. I honestly would rather sit down with Pats fans and listen to them worship Brady and Bill than exchange 2 words with some of these Dolphins "fans" I'm out.

To the trolls: Keep on trolling, posting idiotically and you might just scare us all away and then you can have this site to yourself and disgrace the Dolphin name unhindered.

Sherman and staff have known Tannehill for a while.. they've seen what he can do first hand for a year. All I'd say is why would you then go and spend $60 on a receiver that 90% of the time goes deep. Tannehill is tannehill and his skills won't change only develop if you can't throw that accurate deep ball then the front office are to blame for pairing them.

Go and sign/draft players to fit our skill set.

To be fair to the defense, that last second 1st half FG is on Coyle. He had the DBs lined up 40 yards downfield and blitzed everyone else. That's the definition of setting your players up to fail.

I don't even know how you really blame the coaching. Can't run the ball, couldn't score in the 2nd half.

BTW, you're ****ing loaded if you think Tannehill outperformed Miami's D today. LOA-DED. Did Wallace drop the deep ball for an easy TD when he was WIDE OPEN, or was it severely overthrown? Was Wallace not far enough down the field to catch two other deep balls in stride for easy TDs, or were they underthrown? Did the wide open Matthews drop an easy 3rd down conversion inside Panthers territory, or was the pass well off target to his right? Did Charles Clay fail to haul in an easy 3rd down conversion up the seam near the endzone, or did Tannehill overthrow the hell out of him on a poor passing decision?

Miami's DEFENSE is the GODDAM REASON we were in this game until the very end, not Tannehill.

You nailed it! Your coaching staff's jobs on the line and what did they do? Play scared offensive football..Played with no playoff urgency...none. Way to go down in a blaze of.......nothing. as in no points in the half and no big stops on defense. Would have loved to hear Shermans advice to Tannehill on the last drive...Ryan..no timeouts..90 yrds for a td in 48 secs...Time to be aggressive...Lets go get them....Pathetic

    yup I'd have to agree.

These guys putting all the blame on Tannehill obviously aren't watching the games. or maybe they don't understand the game at all.
it takes 11 guys on the offense to score. not just one, and it takes ANOTHER 11 guys to stop the other team.

one guy can't do it all.
yet when he goes 28-42 310 yards, 66.7% with 1 td(should have been two) and 1 sloppy int that should have just been knocked down,
guys are trying to hang the guy.

    give me a break.
Why not put the blame on the defense that could make a stop in the second half.
or the offense line that allowed the defense to be all over Thill
or the rb's(and oline) that couldn't run at all this game.

naw, its just easier to blame it on the second year QB that out played Cam Newton all game, and couldn't get help from the rest of the team.

but I see you guys.....your agenda is obvious.

if you cant run the ball, focus more on short swing passes....not screens, swing passes. sean peyton understands this, just ask darren sproles. sherman is no better than dan henning, and i am being completely honest. philbin is no better than sparano. and croyle sure as hell is no better than mike nolan.

Yup - I'm starting to think our fanbase is drinking too much of that Omar Kelly koolaid where great QBs just somehow will their team to win regardless of anyone else's performance.

Back in the day, Brees willed his SD team to the first overall pick. But it had nothing to do with anyone around him.

Haven't we all seen enough clips of Belichick and what does he say? "Do Your Job!" That's what's missing from this team. So many players on this team make critically timed errors that are costing us wins. On our second last drive, we take a false start penalty and the drive stalls three yards short. Someone didn't do his job and it cost us the ability to ice the game.

I'm still waiting for someone to explain to me why Wallace looked to the right on that last deep pass.
