I'm angry and it's Saturday.lets hope the team taken on the personality of its fans.. Patterson out..Taylor out..Thomas..out...Clemons...quest...everyone else practiced in full. "For the Jets, defensive back Antonio Allen (illness), cornerback Antonio Cromartie (hip), wide receiver Santonio Holmes (foot/hamstring), wide receiver Jeremy Kerley (elbow) and linebacker Garrett McIntyre (knee) are questionable. Pouncey back should be a boost, were gonna need him to play at a high level playing against the rookie of the year favorite Sheldon Richardson.. We move garner over to guard and we should be ok with Mckinnie solidifying the left tackle position..in reality the only missing Part is Cognito..we should be ok.. Looks like Thigpen is taking over Daniel Thomas's role, and Mike Gilly is taking over kick returns...I'm not sure why they didn't bring in a back for this playoff run.. I got some strange confidence from the Carolina game even though I want to strangle someone..the defense looked like they had some passion and the Wallace affect should have a carry over in this game, with cromartie not 100 % and poor safeties in play! their gonna have to double the dude, and when you have to do that the offensive coordinator needs to know where to attack the void... Obviously with our JV running game they won't be stacking the box, so were gonna have to keep some kind of balance, being one dimensional is no way to go thru life son..one thing about mike Gill, is he's not a dancer, it's not in his makeup, he may not be explosive but he will run in a traditional sense..Miller has a tic in his brain at this point where he's making unnecessary moves..hopefully someone got in his *** this week and told him his future doesn't look so bright if he continues to run the way he is. So the team is operating under the psyche that they cannot lose another game..cool, it makes it much easier to see who wants to be a Miami dolphin next year..This is an absolute must win. I've looked at all the remaining games, they all set up well relative to where we are as a team, and where the teams we play are this season,The way I look at these coaches is this, if you can show me this team will respond to you and play for you, and go 4 and 1 in their last five, you get your 3rd year no questions asked..a two win improvement over last years, amidst a lot of distraction..I'll take that, and go into the offseason with an offensive mentality, while resigning my guys on defense. Jet fans are ready to pounce on their Qb if he comes out of the gate poorly..Play the same defense against him as you played against Scam newton, lets rattle this mother with the best pass rushing unit in football, and kill. The season is there for the taking, wucha gonna do dolphins... How bout you show your true fans who you are the rest of the season..we deserve it..
This team will not suck if they finish 9 and 7..it will mean a lot of positive things going into the 2014 season..
hmm, that makes little sense, why pull Thigpen off of returns to insert him as a Rb who'll be lucky to have 8-10 carries MAX, probably more like 5-6, expect him to be big in the passing game though. I'd prefer to have Matthews on returns tbh Gotta win it
Cant wait for tomorrow...I`ll be among the "Met Life Takeover" group. We are better then the Jets over all but when these two teams play, historically, the better team can lose and lose big. Already psyched, lets get it done Dolphins.
Any scenario that keeps him off returns makes sense to me..I've been wanting Matthews on returns since week 4.. Thigpen has to show that he can catch a freakin screen pass..
Words can't describe how much I enjoy IT when we beat the Jets, especially in Jersey. We need this one big time. It's time for December football. December Dolphins-Jets football with plenty on the line. LET'S ****ING GO DOLPHINS!!!!!
I'm going, I hope you hear us! Of course the Dolphins have to give us something to cheer about and something to shut Jets fans up and send them up the aisles early. I turned on that Auburn-Alabama game about 45 seconds before watching Nick Saban go down in flames in the most awesome way possible...good omen for us Dolphins fans? We're tortured from Culpepper over Brees because of that jerk, so a Dolphins win over the Jets would be a great way to cap off this Thanksgiving weekend. And I want to give thanks for that right in Metlife Stadium.
Getting home from vacation earlier than expected. Will be watching this game live. Can't ****ing wait!!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Man CK was right about Gus Malzahn...he'll never leave that job but damn, I've been reading and listening to him a lot over the last two weeks...guy is awesome.
Would love Malzahn, and especially David Shaw, if it comes to a coaching change. I doubt either of them are willing to leave where they are though.
There's no reason we can't get this done, unless the coaches suck..motivate these guys, a lot of them have been here long enough to figure out what level of urgency they need to play with. Starks..Odrick..Wake..Jones..Clemons..Solai... Carroll..Misi...OV... I expect them not to give up a TD..I expect them to play very hard for the next month..I expect these coaches to have them playing like someone disrespected them..if they don't, the way this schedule plays out, then we know.
Wanna read somethin funny,, [QUOTE“I’m not trying to push that envelope until my number is called,” Garrard said. “So, for now, I’m being the best teammate that I can, the best guy to help Geno as much as I can, because everything’s new to him as far as what the other teams are doing and how to handle certain situations. I’m trying to give him that little bit of wisdom that I have to be able to help him not be hit by things off guard. Right now, that’s my role.” Garrard seems to think his future role could be the starter for a different team. Seriously. “I’ve told these guys that I’d love to stay here, love to keep going,” Garrard said. “I don’t know if it’s in the cards for someone else to bring me in as a starter. If that’s not the case, I’d love to be right here and keep working with these guys and working with this staff.” Officially, he’s not lobbying to play. Even though he said he “would be pumped” if they “call my number.”][/QUOTE] Of course you would David...lol
Rex Ryan states on Friday that he's concerned about the availability of Holmes and Kerley playing.. David Nelson..Stephen hill, Greg salas and josh cribbs would be their top 4.. Kellen Winslow is healthy, he Chris ivory and Cumberland will be their offense...Dion Jordan got 10 coverage reps last week without anything being completed..I believe he's pitching a shutout for the season.. Wheeler played his best game of the season agains Carolina..it was a better game than any I saw of Kevin Burnett..Ellerbe is a different story relative to Dansby...
Running game will likely be garbage against their front 7. Game needs to be won by an electric offensive gameplan executed well by Tannehill and his receivers, with a few turnovers from our defense against the jets turnover machine under center. Dolphins 38 Jests 3 If a late-season playoff run is going to happen, it must take flight today in New York! Go Dolphins!!!
Aww man you didn't catch that live? Amazing, just the look on Saban's face was priceless. FSU #1 babyyyy
Dolphins Inactives: Pat Devlin, Daniel Thomas, David Arkin, Danny Watkins, A.J. Francis, Dimitri Patterson, Jamar Taylor. No surprises. Mike Pouncey is also officially starting.
Gilly any good at returning kicks? And I guess that means Thiggy still returning punts? He worries me more there than kickoffs.
