Wow man! I know our defense will be top notch and personally I would love to see someone take Boeckman's job. Not likely but I really dont trust him in "big" games. Bauserman is the talk of the town, and it looks like your boy Henton may get lost in the shuffle once Pryor hits campus.

We beat USC were sitting pretty the rest of the way, I know a road(night) game in Madison will NEVER be easy. They are one of those teams who can beat anybody at home! Not real worried about Michigan.

We got to the big game a year early Im sure we will agree, but this year IF we make it we wil have the talent and experience to win.

 

I think a healthy Beanie Wells will be enough. I bet he closes in on 2K rushing yards with over 20 Rushing TD's. Boeckman should be better with a healthy Wells. No one has as much depth as we do. We should win it. I don't see USC posing much of a threat. I think Henton might transfer, he holds on to the ball for to long and he is erratic throwing it.

 

Well I dare to say a road game at USC not being a threat, we will be an underdog in that game for sure...should be exciting.

A tad concerned with the OL but Beanie will be a top three preseason Heisman canidate for sure....Im tired of all the individual awards though, Im ready to feel like I did in 2003.

 

I say they don't pose much of a threat because their offense wont score more then 10 points on us. I'm predicting a 28 point average for the offense and about 6 Points against. Beanie will carry this team if he has to.

I just think with this kind of depth its going to be hard to lose. I mean Boeckman is capable of losing games for us but that defense is going to the best yet just because of the guys who stayed. If Wilson stays healthy that Dline will dominate. Heyward and Wilson are just to talented.

ESPN is pretty stupid if they think Pryor will be Boeckmans back up.

Also if want to see SEC ignorance go ahead and start reading the comments.

 

Pryor will get time but not as a direct back up IMO. Bauserman could probably give Boeckman a run for his money.

 

Yea the SEC stuff is BS....West Virginia and USC wouldve likely beat us also so save that for the birds. Bottom line we were not good enough to be in that game, it just fell into our laps. And we got fat and ****y against Florida and it showed!

 

I would have been happy beating USC in the Rose bowl. I blame WVU and Oklahoma for choking went it mattered. But we got out coached and out played both national title games.

I don't know whats wrong with JT and Jim Hea**** but they didn't make any kind of half time adjustments.

Dude who transfered is from Pickerington wich is like 10 miles from Columbus so he had no buisness going to that school anyhow. its better to fix your mistakes early rather than waste your collegiate career by going to Peach Bowls and losing 5 times a year.

Gotta admidt, when we were interviewing guys I was pulling for Glen Mason, in my defense I didnt know anything about Tress.

Well Mason was the favorite but I'm glad we went with JT. His coaching credentials speak for themselves. I'm glad we didn't go with Mason ugh. Cooper gave no reason to get excited about Buckeye football. He did a pretty decent job recruiting but he just couldn't get it done with Michigan.

Word around here was that Boren left, because Lloyd Carr was trying to recruit his brother, but with Carr leaving, Rich decided against bringing Boren's little brother to Michigan, thats what led Boren to split... thats what was being discussed on sports talk radio around Detroit.

 

Ohio St lands another top recruit in Melvin Fellows! He had a soft verbal to Illini but after his recent visit he gave a solid verbal to coach Tress.

Buckeyes putting together one hell of a recruiting class.
