Name the main and best probowler that has not been lost?...... that's how you shouldn't be shocked unless you haven't been watching football for the past 14 years

Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola, Austin Collie, Kenbrell Thompkins and Aaron Dobson have beaten the following defensive backs....... Darelle Revis, Antonio Cromartie, Ike Taylor, Troy Polamalu, DaShon Goldson, Dominque Cromartie Rodgers, Jonathan Joseph and I know Brent Grimes is good but.. if they got open on those guys for yards and touchdowns then what in the name of God makes you think that they cannot get open on your defensive backs, and lets be honest :/

All cornerbacks get beaten, however the wide receivers do not scare me at all. The runningbacks on the other hand, scare me.

    That and the refs.

    Because THEY DIDNT LAST TIME?

    "lets be honest"

You've yet to acknowledge the fact that he only threw 100 yards against said secondary you are saying you are going to torch. Yawn. We beat 90% of those guys as well bro. Congrats?

gunna be 3+ sack game for Miami easy.

Different game, different level of mentality for the Patriots, and a much better Julian Edelman, and a much healthier Danny Amendola and a much improved Aaron Dobson, Kenbrell Thompkins and Josh Boyce. Bill Belichick and Josh McDaniels will have these guys playing at a high level against that secondary. They are all smart, intelligent, good athletes, well coached and will get it going this game because Bill knows they have to start faster.

The Pats are usually pretty good coming off a loss, and they will have something to prove after losing at home to Cleveland.

No Gronk. and then you have that other thing where Tom Brady has barely outplayed Ryan Tannehill this year.

it will be close...but Fins pull it out.

Then again....the Refs are good for at least 7 points..so we might have to win by two TD's to pull out a close one.

    Yep..were screwed.

Bottom Line, until Brady either retires, or turns 50, the Pats are always a threat.

It's the Patriots! As long as they have Tom Brady throwing the ball they are going to be a dominant force in the NFL. Obviously Gronkowski makes Brady's job much easier but it's not like they are going to be awful without him. 5-1 without Gronkowski including a huge come from behind win over the Saints. I'd say the Patriots will still be right in the thick of things when the playoffs end.
Bottom line is we need to beat them on Sunday and the Ravens need to lose.

Dobson and Thompkins are accidents waiting to happen. You mention them and my scare factor went down another notch. Those 2 beat themselves more than they beat any decent DB.

Wow neuron gave up debate and just started blindly stating how awesome the pats were. Yeah, we know. They are good. So then Miami, hit them hard, hit them early, keep them pats off the field. Might have to try the same with the refs too.

Neuron...this is a HUGE game for Miami. Its a changing of the guard game..where Miami has a chance to announce they are the team to beat in the AFC East now. Sun Life is gonna be a mad house...absolutely the biggest home game we have had in ages. No question who the hungrier team will be....Miami is going to be looking to absolutely WRECK the Pats

Changing of the guard.. get the hell out of here, you know damn well there won't be no changing of the guard until the great Tom Brady and Bill Belichick retire.. change of the guard:pity: .. New England is playing for a championship, and you guys are playing just to say you can beat the Patriots. I like Shane Vereen in the passing game, I like the speedy and super quick Josh Boyce in space as he gets more involved and I still like both Julian Edelman (having a career season), Austin Collie (was great with Peyton in Indy and now healthy) and Danny Amendola (healthy now) both in the slot and downfield. I'm also excited to see what game plan Bill, Tom and Josh McDaniels have for the returning young receivers Kenbrell Thompkins and Aaron Dobson in the passing game, getting them in favorable one on one matchups. Can't wait for this game..

Last game, Brady was 13/22/115 yards with a TD and an INT. He was sacked 3 times. He had a 69 rating.

Scoring for them was as follows:
    - Dobson beat Wheeler, a LB, for a 14 yard TD.
    - (No Huddle) B.Bolden rushed off the left end for a 2 yard TD.
    - Ridley rushed off left end for 3 yard TD.

    - Our OLine was atrocious at tackle back before Bully-gate.
    - Tannehill was sacked 6 times and hit 9 times.
    - Tannehill had a blindside fumble and 2 INTs.
    - Tannehill threw 2 TDs to Gibson and Thomas.

They ran for 152 yards and 2 TDs on us. We ran for 156 on them, but couldn't score on the ground. Sturgis missed 2 FGs, going 1 for 3.

With our improved OLine/QB play of the recent weeks, a semblance of a run game, and a defense with something to prove, we should win this.

Was it because of " that's how we roll, boston style" that gave it away Ronnie?

Or was it, "we've beaten you guys since Welker was here"?

It's a new year, always changing...

We'll be ready to play for 60 mins, it's our new thing.

In order to win this game, we need to be in Brady's face all game long and plant him five or six times. If he gets time, we're not going to win this one. Everyone on the team knows this.

Low frequency microwave rays on the visitor's bench...Dare I say HAARP may have been involved in our last mental collapse with the Pats.

Refs probably keep this one close and then ease up late in the game. I like our chances and it should be a great game to watch...

I think with Julian Edelman hot right now and Danny Amendola back healthy.. Josh Boyce involved, and Shane Vereen in the passing game the offense will score more points then last time. But I also expect Bill to have that defense playing a lot better and for Chandler Jones (11 sacks), Chris Jones (5.5 sacks) and Rob Ninkovich (6 sacks) to get some extreme heat on Tannehill, will not get a sleep Patriot team this week. But will also get Miami's best effort I'm sure. It comes down to this, as long as Tom has time there is no one in the NFL better. Miami needs to pressure him, not just pressure but sack him and keep him off the field if they want to have a chance.

I think they will protect Tom a lot better in this game, and will try to make Vernon and Wake a priority. With some quick screens and passes to keep them honest. Keep in mind, he has been sacked 6 times in one game and still scored 30 points without Rob Gronkowski. Surely he is capable of that every Sunday. As long as Bill and Tom are at the helm, they are a challenge to beat. No way they start slow 4 times in a row, I just don't see that happening, Bill knows how important it is to go into the post season with some momentum and to win the division. They don't care who they have at tightend, they have other weapons and will start faster I believe.

Tampa Bay vs - over 100 yards, two TDs for Thompkins, Atlanta vs - over 100 yards two TDs for Thompkins, Saints vs - game winning TD reception, Carolina vs - 2 catches for 60 yards and a near touchdown on the 2 yard line. Aaron Dobson vs Pittsburgh 200 yards receiving, 2 TDs just shows what he can do, and he is a much much improved player from the beginning of the season so don't discount these kids, they are very capable and talented young receivers that have to thrive in a much more complex offense then any other offense in football maybe with the exception of Denver. Other rookie receivers have it a lot easier.

I agree, it'll come down to pressuring Brady and protecting Tannehill. Wake is healthy now and OV and Jordan are coming into their own. Getting Thomas back is a plus for us in protection and maybe running now that Brenner is improving our run game on the OLine.

That is the unsaid, our OL was TERRIBLE in the last game

What I do like about this matchup is w/o GronK, Brady will have to work the ball around more and work harder for Td's.

    I'll take a Grimes/Amendola Carrol/Edelman Boldin/Patterson matchups

This tells me, they will run the ball more then usual, hopefully Coyle is ready for it.

I also think the offense is finally peaking, 30 pts in snowy pittsburgh was something no one saw coming, the OL is finally gelling, our only question mark is RB and whether Miller will be full go.

Agreed. We'd have won the last one if we had had even decent OLine play I think. Hoping Miller is back, but if not Thomas and Gilly should be able to generate something on the ground with Tannehill getting a few runs in here and there. Really pleased with what I have seen from Brenner at guard as well. He sprung Thomas twice against PB.
