Tannehill is 4 QBR behind brady this season with 1 less touch down, if you don't think that is a closeable gap by any two people on any given sunday.... well... like I said before. Inbred.

I don't remember anyone saying anything about who is the better QB. Just that he will be better this Sunday. but that would require more reading (not your strong suit, I know)

and by the way... "Shake my head my god damn head"? that's almost English.

I meant Shaking, typed fast but of course I question your intel to actually realize that instead of insult my English which is one of my strengths. But you're welcome, any way lets keep this a football debate and not an English debate :)

You insult me and then say let's keep it a football debate..... Rofl..... I'd love to keep it a football debate... if there was any actual debating going on.... or logic.

So since my 'intel' is in question and not yours, I just want to clarify, you're saying that a 4 point QBR differential gap can't be closed in 1 game? Just checking. Because that's what you implied and i'd like to see the miniscule amount of credibility you MIGHT still have go out the window.

Miniscule, QBR and all of this other crap lol at the end of the day, Tom Brady has the rings, the wins, the clutch play and the elite status despite Tannehill's QBR, 4 points or whatever other crap you can go search on google. He is a PROVEN winner, I don't care what Tannehill as done the last few games, I KNOW what Tom Brady can and does often and almost every single game.. and that's win.

If it was only a 1 game anomaly, ala Matt Flynn in GB, I would agree. But it's not, it's 5 games...Jay Cutler has a QBR of 88.1 for the season. You don't have to accept it (it's accept not except BTW), it's facts and stats. Same offense, same players...just sayin'

    LMFAO. WHAT????????

What a long way to say you have no clue wtf you're talking about. LOL.

Kid, you need to read. for real, it's starting to get a little scary. Someone told you that Tannehill will outplay Brady on Sunday. Which is perfectly possible, And then you just go on this tirade about Brady being in the HOF QB and his history and blah blah blah which no one gives a ****, because no one was talking about that.

No one is talking about anything but this Sunday, and you children have such a hard time grasping that concept. Enjoy your loss. I expect to see you back here Sunday promptly around 4.

You really troll opposing team blogs every week and post stuff like this. Everyone in the world knows Brady is a HOF player. We've had a couple too. It will end badly if Mallett isn't ready to go.

QB rating is the sole determinant? Child please.

    Over the last 5 games:

Brady: 1861 yards, 147/216, 12 TD, 3 INT. No one comes close to that over the last 5 games.

McCown didn't play a full game 5 games ago so we can't take his totals over that span.

While I appreciate your enthusiasm defending your players, I do not quite get it when it comes to some of these players (save Shane Vereen). Disputing Tom Brady's greatness is absurd. Even the nastiest opposing fan can come to terms with it. He is a non-factor in this particular discussion ONLY because everyone knows what he brings. It will be on Brady to get the ball to the players you mention.

    NOW, let's talk football:

To say that losing Gronkowski (one of you guys said it) does not really affect your team is downplaying how he dictates coverages. Miami has been historically poor at covering TEs, but now, that factor is not necessarily there. Because he is not there, you say that Edelman, Collie, and Amendola will make up the difference. Shane Vereen? Maybe, but now the focus is on him due to the lack of explosive playmakers on offense. He was a virtual non-factor in Cleveland until the end of the 3rd Quarter. Cleveland didn't adjust. We'll see how Miami adjusts and how the Pats adjust.

Edelman is having a solid season, and he is a chain mover. Over half of his 76 receptions are for first downs. He is having a career year only because the Patriots have no one else. He is also a fumble waiting to happen. We will see if he can keep his hands dry this Sunday.

Austin Collie.....really? I neither have the time or patience.

Amendola. He is solid. I like him. He may actually do well against Miami with the underneath stuff, and may be used to help create clutter for Vereen out of the backfield.

The guy who intrigues me for this game is Boyce. I believe Dobson will still be out with a foot, so I am circling him for the 'doubtful' column.

Boyce may have gotten his feet wet against Cleveland and was sprinkled in nicely throughout the game. Brady was intercepted going deep to him early in the game, but he also got some nice yardage from a couple of short tosses.

So, I think that there is going to be a bunch of underneath stuff against Miami to try to stave the pass rush. It's when the Pats try to go deep will we see who is ready to play. Will Miami get to Brady? Can the Patriot receivers beat one of the better secondaries in the league? Will Vereen get deep looks?

I also suspect we may see more running from the Patriots. I just do not see much from the Patriots in the passing game save the underneath/screen stuff, and only then, one, maybe two guys give concern with YAC. Maybe more crossing routes/clutter routes from the Pats, but I think the mid-range stuff will be a tad amiss. I think Miami has been better at tackling those underneath routes as of late, so that helps.

While you say it will be on Miami to keep Brady off of the field (I do not disagree), it may be wise to consider how to keep Tannehill off the field as well.....

EDIT: Not being a homer, but I think the matchup of the Patriot offense against Miami's defense could be in Miami's favor.

Thank you for talking football, now this is my language. I agree with a lot of what you say, but I think that Danny Amendola is more then solid, he is actually pretty good. He is more explosive then Wes Welker like many experts have eluded to but when you have Rob Gronkowski, Shane Vereen and Julian Edelman taking the bulk of receptions away from you, its hard to showcase that. And I counted not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 times that he was open for either long gains or touchdowns, and I mean WIDE OPEN.. but Tom dumped it off to Shane. I mean, I was screaming at the TV he was so open, OMG!! The reason being so is because they had two people covering Vereen and Joe Haden getting confused with whether or not he should cover Julian or stick with Boyce. And I think that they will see that on tape and make sure he hits Danny for those receptions this Sunday.

It's pretty funny isn't it. Will be interesting to see what will happen to these guys once the Patriots start to decline. It's going to happen, Brady only has maybe 3 or 4 years left at best.Belichick is 61 now, so he probably will coach another 10 years at the most. Once Brady retires and his team starts to struggle how much longer is he going to want to deal with the stress of the NFL. What will these "fans" do when their team isn't winning and isn't being constantly hyped up by the media?

The Dolphins have had little success lately but their true fans have stuck with them even through these tough times. I am sure there are some real Patriots fans who stuck with them through their bad times and deserve to enjoy their success. However there are many of those who hopped on the band wagon or are young enough to have become fans while they have been winning. I am pretty sure the most arrogant loud mouthed clowns are the ones who will abandon their team once they start losing.

We have a good group of young players on both sides of the ball. Ryan Mallet has learned a lot as a backup to one of the greatest QBs of all-time. We'll be fine after Belichick and Brady retire.

:pity: The world doubting them because Gronk is gone + Vereen on fire and back in this game + Edelman hot + Amendola healthy + Josh Boyce emergence + Ridley/Blount/Bolden + Ninkovich and Chandler Jones hungry for some Tannehill (combined 18 sacks)+ Bill and Tom wanting to mash their foot on the gas heading into the post season = A woodshed beating in store for the Dolphins.. If you think they wont start fast this Sunday then you are either drunk or high, pick one...

Brady under pressure? Well Cannon looks like he'll be back this Sunday, and Shane Vereen will be there to keep that rush honest with some hellacious screens. And even in the two games where he was sacked 5 or more times this season, he still put up 30 points .. sacking him doesn't mean he still can't and won't shred you.. you guys out of everybody should know that by now. That cliché sh*t about pressuring him and getting in his face is almost laughable now because of the many things Tom has done.. the guy is simply amazing.

Not laughable at all. It's a real statistic. The recipe to beating the pats with Brady has always been pressure. Worked for the Giants to the tune of 2 Superbowl wins... Pressure in the last game is how Brady finished with 115 yards, a TD, and an INT. I expect Coyles to have pressure packages lined up. Wake is healthy in this game and OV, Jordan, Odrick, Starks, and Soliai have had a nice couple weeks against the stej and steelers.

Unlike the last game in Oct, we seem to be able to protect our sophomore QB a bit better now and actually have a running game or sorts of our own. All BS aside, I expect us to realistically win this game if our offense can continue it's recent play and our kicker not miss 2 FGs this time if we need him.

Eh, been here for a time, patsies fans must be concerned.

I'm not terribly concerned about Brady, I'm more concerned about a well coached team that makes few mistakes going against an athletic team that makes many mistakes.

Brady being sacked does affect his ability to make plays AND it affects playcalling. I believe the Browns showed us that last week. Brady gets sacked one play after going long. Beginning of the next drive: run, run, run. Brady gets sacked again. Short passes. Why? Because the coaches (and Brady himself) want him upright.

You mention in another post about Brady missing wide open receivers. Brady does not miss wide open receivers. He chose the underneath because he did not want to take a hit. Coaches can use the run and some underneath stuff to keep their precious QB from taking hits. Why in the hell would you run left three times in a row to begin a drive? Could it be your QB got hammered ending the previous drive?

The second half adjustments for both teams will be key. Patriots are solid at that. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if we see another nailbiter ending. Miami's MO. Go up big in the first half, let the opponent come back in the second.

Brady has always been susceptible to bad plays when pressured. He does hang in there, though. So we'll see. He is getting hit quite a bit this year. He is not as young as he use to be. Smarter, hence the dump-offs.

He will have earned a win Sunday if they come out on top.

It's a pretty unprecedented accomplishment, I mean some individuals do it, ya know steroids and sh&$, but you guys in the modern era actually cheated....wow, that's hard to wrap my head around that fact..it's a shame because your team knew the coaches were cheating yes?

so you wont except reality? the word is accept. as you have provided us with your teams roster over and over and over... there is no bull**** stats here. it was said that Brady was the best QB over the last 5 games. that statement was wrong and proven statistically. pick and choose your arguments, stats, games and players to prove your point. one thing you will find here is that we do not bull**** when it comes down to bottom line, not to say there aren't any aqua and orange colored glasses here from time to time but absolutely no bull****.
