    1) I just don't see how the Miami Dolphins are suppose to be favored at all in this contest? 2) Some Miami fans are foolish enough to compare their chances in this game to how New England beat Cleveland and that's a bad idea, being this upcoming Sunday is a different day, and I'm sure New England will have a completely different approach and attitude in this game as opposed to the Cleveland game. 3) And third, with the many times that New England has beaten Miami I just don't see even with Rob Gronkowski going down, how it won't be different this time. lol ... And its funny how they treat Ryan Tannehill like the second coming of Dan Marino, hilarious lol...

I realistically expect us to win this game as long as we do not start slow.. that's been our ONLY mistake lately.. and you know a team is good when you can still beat teams half asleep, waking up by the second half. We'll get it right this time, you know Bill is good for it, no.. he is great for it.

Should be concerned about Brady, threw for 418 yards and two TDs in spite of that pass interference call in which Brady put that ball right on the money, which shows how accurate his deep ball still is. Boyce is growing though, he'll make those catches in the future. And yes, Tom stacked on a lot yardage after Gronk went down.

I also expect OLB/DE Rob Ninkovich (6 sacks), DT/DE Chris Jones (5.5 sacks) and OLB/DE Chandler Jones (11 sacks) to have huge games, with a few strip sacks for forced fumbles ... and I also expect all pro CB Aqib Talib to shutdown whoever he is one and come up with at least one pick, Devin McCourty with a pick and CB Logan Ryans with another pick six for a TD.

Patriots vs Naysayers 2013: Patriots can't stop Drew Brees and not only do they do just that but they make him look average, and beat him. Patriots are going to struggle without Gronk - end up going 7-1 before his return. Patriots can't beat Peyton Manning with a banged up secondary, they make Peyton look below average picking him off once, pressuring him 5 times and beating him. And even with the Wes Welker muffed punt, they still outplayed the Broncos that night with the exception of Knowshon Moreno which Bill wanted to happen, and now again.. Patriots are going to struggle without Gronk lol.. how many times do we have to prove people wrong?

I don't think you'll be laughing at the end of the game Sunday so get your shots and giggles in now. You can bet that Miami will also be taking a different approach to this game than they did back on October 27th. I don't think the Dolphins will let your team off the hook this time. No big second half comeback and last second victory this week for the Patriots. The Dolphins will play 60 minutes and the team that has been average on the road all year and has yet to beat a team with a winning record away from Gillette is going to come up short again.

I find it funny how a Patriot fan cannot believe that the Dolphins could have a good chance winning this game at home considering that the Dolphins were pretty much winning the first contest on the road till several questionable calls brought the Patriots back in the game.

Not making excuses, the Dolphins played ****ty in the second half of that game still the Patriots were favored by the outcome of several calls.

I have a feeling the coaches are going to want to keep Ryan in the pocket most of the first half and in the second let him loose and follow a Colin Kaepernick/RGIII style of game plan with constant read-options, roll-outs, designed runs, to the point where he may get between 50 and 100 yards on the ground.... I think that'll catch Belichick a little off guard.

Except it wasn't proven wrong at all. The person who attempted to disprove that only used QB rating to do so. A single stat is not the sole determinant. Also, he claimed that McCown has been the best QB over the past 5 games. Given that McCown didn't even play a full game 5 games ago, it would be pretty stupid to use a game in which he came off the bench as part of the sample. But I expect that kind of ignorance, given than most of you have probably never taken a stats course beyond intro stats.

Filming Chargers cheerleaders on the sidelines is why we won 3 titles?

In your opinion did your franchise devise ways to gain advantages in competition thru illegal practices?

No. The filming occurred from locations where signals were still visible. Many teams were doing what the Pats were doing. Jimmy Johnson even stated that he was aware of this going on while he was still coaching and said that there was no advantage to be gained from it. I will trust a HOF coach with inside knowledge of the situation over random people online any day.

Not sure. Impossible to say they won because of the cheating. What we do know is they did cheat when they won their titles.

If many other teams were also doing this, it wasn't exactly an advantage.

Well, thats a pretty big if.

Either way, you said that there was no advantage to be gained. Then why exactly did they do it? Did they just get off on breaking the rules? Why is it against the rules?

the patriots win because of phantom interference calls (last week) and phantom illegal ball batting calls (us a few weeks ago) there is very rarely a patriots win that isn't bogged down in questionable calls from officials. the entire dynasty was started when the officials added a rule to the rule book in Oakland to give them a win. the commissioner burned the spygate tapes to cover for his boy kraft. but there is no fountain of youth, and brady is getting older and it's showing. a new posterboy will come up and replace him for the nfl, and I doubt it's gonna be mallet.... and then, back to the cellar for the pats for years to come, and it will be glorious.

wow. insulting on all levels. I was always told to be wary of people who self promote and make themselves to be better than others, they usually are compensating for shortcomings and are willing to do just about anything to draw attention away from them. hmmm. as for stats I would think that using the partial game as a whole game would dilute Mcowns stats and potentially lessen his level, stat wise of course. but the fact that he was statistically better except for over all yards, with less time to me speaks volumes. and clearly is getting your panties in a bunch. why don't you run back to your own message board where you can all stroke your selves into fantasy land. you aren't proving anything here to us except that your brand of homer is clueless and has no humility. regardless of the outcome of this game Miami is going to punch New England right square in the mouth...and it's gonna hurt.

Also, you can't simply take the QB rating over those 5 games, add them up and then divide by 5 to come up with an average. That would mean absolutely nothing. To come up with a QB rating over a span of 5 games, you need to take the totals of the variables used in the formula (yards, TDs, INT, etc.) over those 5 games and input them into that formula.

Good luck stopping Vereen, like ESPN's Tom Jackson mentioned, he is a matchup nightmare for any defense and provides single coverage opportunities for Edelman and Amendola, where they excel the most.. Don't see anybody on the Miami defense who could at least contain him...

I don't care what the last 5 game stats were for Josh McCown, its irrelevant, and also he ain't Tom Brady, doesn't matter how well he has played or what his QBR was.. we all know how great Tom is and what he can do, and that still has to be respected. He'll make a bunch of random guys off the street look like all-pros.

tom brady is good, but only when he isn't picking himself off the turf from being hit... that's what the stats are showing, and the pats fans are ignoring.

the other fact, if you wanna look past "stats" and just play the eyeball game, is my eyeballs see whenever tom is picking himself off the turf, there is a yellow flag next to him. the refs know he's the golden child, and the refs know he sucks when he's getting hit, so they protect him more than any other QB in the league. put those two points together, and you can see why it's hard to rattle him.

Just who in the hell are the Miami Dolphins to hope they get into the playoffs to face the Patriots again? That's what Miami doesn't want. You guys all of a sudden have grown some balls with your little 7-6 record like you are all of a sudden a threat to the division just because ONE guy on the Patriots went down when they never even had anybody close to his talent while they were winning Championships.. so give me a break. If most good teams in the league don't want to see us in the post season then what makes you guys hope so like that's suppose to scare us after beating your butts for over a decade, and not even making the post season for well over a decade..

We won the divison on 2008. But you were probably still in pre school then..so..might not remember.

When you were winning championships, you had a championship defense. You haven't in a while, thus, you haven't won a championship in a while.

You know why Peyton is having such a great season besides the fact that he has weapons, is because he is kept clean.. Tom gets hit and is STILL able to win games.. There have been at least 3 games this season where he has been sacked at least 4 times and have won those games (Saints, Jets, Cleveland, Texans, Broncos 3 sacks) .. and I forget to mention that Tom had a swollen hand vs Miami last time as well. The guy is great even when he is sacked.. its when the offense beats themselves

Aqib Talib - elite CB that's been battling and playing with a hip injury, getting healthier each week.. Rob Ninkovich is a sack and turnover machine, Chandler Jones has 11 sacks already this season, which is right behind Olivier Vernon, Chris Jones the defensive tackle has 6 sacks, Devin McCourty is one of the game's best safeties has 4 INTS, Kyle Arrington is a very good slot cornerback and CB Logan Ryans has 4 INTS, 2 for pick sixes and 2 sacks.. its just a matter of the Linebacking corps getting better which they, and safety Steve Gregory getting completely healthy. Other then that, the defense has the players and youth to be very good in the post season..

Patriots are the Bills of the 2010's. Get to the big game and choke it away. Maybe you should talk after you haven't lost 3 Superbowls. Your a lot like Ohio State, get to the big game through gifts and get exposed.

Actually David Tyree's luck, Asante Samuel's slippery hands and Wes Welker's drop was actually a gift to the Giants.
