yup, the illegal motion is not reviewable, the forward lateral is not enough evidence because of the angle. If he hadnt of stepped out of bounds, we would have lost. I think it was a great way to end what I think is the best Dolphins game I've seen since the New England Wildcat game. It was just awesome stuff to watch.

Disagree. Weather is adversity. Great teams overcome adversity. I'd love to see two teams fight in snow.

I wouldn't enjoy a super bowl similar to the Detroit/Philly game.

Agreed. I enjoy it in the playoffs though. Makes for great discussion. But in the Super Bowl I want to see two teams operating at full speed with full precision.

I hope there is an epic storm during super bowl week. Of biblical proportions. I think it's stupid to host the Super Bowl during winter in a cold state. The Super Bowl is as much a production as it is a game. Let them freeze their arse off. Meanwhile in San Diego it's always sunny and warm during the super bowl :D

I enjoyed our game. I think that was too much. It was hard to even see anything.

I'll tell ya, Jdang, I think I'd be pissed, as a fan, even if my team isn't one of the teams playing, if the game came down to some of the crappy, sloppy play we saw this weekend. I mean, it would have to, in my book, go down in the records with an asterisk if a team won on 5 guys slipping and missing because of the field conditions...just me I guess...Heck, one of my favorite games of all times is the mud bowl (AJ Duhe game) against the jests in the early 80's but that game wasn't decided on a fluke play...

Why? If you argue the superbowl needs to be a clean perfect game, then every regular season game needs to be clean and perfect to drcide who the best teams are to make the playoffs.

I'd love to watch a game in the most horrific non life threatening blizzard of all time

He's the master of the situation where the other team doesn't catch his camera guy...

He's the master of crying about ONE possible bad call against his girls to the league, knowing damn well they're supposed to get ALL the calls (see Mia vs. NE 2013, game 1).

Indy may have drafted the name Luck, but the Patsies have had the substance for several years. Two of their super bowl wins were because the other team's HC outcoached himself.

He's the master of mediocrity pre-Brady, and will be again in a few years...

I get your point, I'm just not on the Belidick bandwagon...nor will I ever be.

How prepared have the Patsies been for their last 2 super blows?

The guy is a dooooooooooosh...sorry...just can't stand him.

Pittsburgh played an illegal play, which included an illegal forward pass. The only reason it's still being discussed is because they almost got away with cheating, because the garbage-*** NFL (read: New-England Football League) refs were too busy getting wrapped up in the moment...like they're fans or something. I'd say they were less prepared than the Dolphins were.

Feel the same if Miami was in it and we were on the wrong end of a play that was primarily affected by snow , ice , fog?

Being Canadian I have been to snow games , Grey Cup games where weather was a factor , and the games this weekend were cool and fun to watch but I never would want to have a game altered because of that , let alone a Super Bowl. Grey Cups have been more or less won because one team had better replacement cleats , once a team put thousands of staples in the players cleats for better traction. That imo just is not right. Far too much goes into getting there , for players , coaches , organizations , fans to not at least do what can be done to let the game be played in good conditions.

You can't stop or change regular season games because of some weather related issues , but they do stop games as they have done this year , for lightning and have stopped games for other reasons. You can however plan to try to not have issues.

The NFL reportedly wants Miami to have a roof to avoid the rain being a negative as it was last time the SB was there , why would they potentially let a winter city be exposed to mother nature?

Hate to lose a game where it wasn't our effort or the other teams that was the defining factor.

Put me in the crowd for good weather and let the best team win. It seems adverse conditions can close the gap considerably.

Totally agree. That will be so hilarious if the weather is so bad they can hardly play the game. The rich fat cats will be comfy in their luxury boxes while the common fans will be freezing their nuts and vaginas off in the stands. After appeasing the ownership of the Giants, maybe the league will come to it's senses and have the game in warm weather cities where it belongs from then on.

When did the players on both teams stop playing in the same weather? Games like this have a potential to leave a legacy behind. What is more exciting?

Perfect weather and your QB leads s drive to win as time expires.

Its coming down, a blizzard. Tannehill drives down the field against all odds and wins the game.

Weath er can make a game memorable. Again, how is it any more or less faor to play regular season games in bad weather?

  17. What would be kind of funny would be for the biggest noreaster of the century to hit and close the airports down the entire week before the game and have them play the game in a basically empty stadium.

I'm not being obtuse. I'm having a different opinion. I prefer football in sloppy weather as opposed to clear weather, however even if I didn't I wouldn't see a problem with the game being played in the elements.

You haven't even provided a reason it shouldn't be.

So can a butt fumble. Do you want to watch butt fumbles during the Super Bowl? Not I. Give me good weather any day. The bad weather is good for playoffs. Not super bowl.

You are entitled to your opinion of course. But there is mine.

Honest ly I'd love to see a butt fumble again, but that is besides the point.

I personally don't see how weather impacting who gets to the Super Bowl is any different than impacting the Super Bowl itself. Like I said...the weather isn't going to determine anything. Both teams play in, it still comes down to who executes and who doesn't.

I respect your opinion, I don't even care about changing it, but thrre is no reason to act like not caring about perfect weather is blasphemy. Not that you did personally.

Not if we're the ones blowing the other team out. We've had enough heart attack games.

That is a false dichotomy. There are other possibilities.

  30. Not a comedy of errors but have no issue with a team being forced to overcome adversity. Its part of the game. Its why teams have traditionally needed a solid running attack once the found their way into the post season irregardless of regular season play.

The Buttfumble does too belong in the Super Bowl. There are different reasons why different Super Bowls are memorable. Some are memorable because they are competitive. Some, because there is excellence in strategy and its execution. Some, because of domination. Some, because of individual athleticism. Some, because of one or more great plays. One is even memorable because a guy who wore panty hose in cold weather games guaranteed a victory. They are all part of football lore.

None of you can tell me with a straight face that the Buttfumble was not football lore. Theater of the absurd is still theater. We were privileged to witness the Buttfumble, and it would take its place in making a Super Bowl memorable.

No, you said the elements would determine the game. That is false. What theplayers do in those elements will.

Its okay to have separate opinions. We don't have to agree, because this is entirely a matter of preference with no right or wrong answer

On the level of what can happen during the Superbowl, I would much rather have an awesome weather game than a blow out. I enjoy watching games with snow and rain. I have never been a fan of the idea that the Superbowl needs to be played in a sterile weather environment.

In a season of complete ineptitude where officiating is concerned, lets all just be happy a Steeler wide receiver A) Couldn't control his big toe and B) at lease one of those turrible officials was able to actually see that said big toe stepped on the line.

The elements effect what each player does differently. Fluky things happen much more frequently in bad weather. I want to see the best team win, not the luckiest team. Look at our last game. We are more than 6 points better than the Steelers IMO. No way the game would be as close with good weather and surface conditions. Do you remember the games in Buffalo late in the season, in the early 90s? The field would often be like a literal ice skating rink. Players slipping and sliding all over the place. You'd really like to see a Super Bowl played in those conditions?

Ill be honest, I would. A lot of times the Super Bowl is extremely dull and boring to me. Even when its close I have a hard time caring since it isn't my team. I don't care about watching perfectly played football. Weather can make it more interesting.

    Its just s personal preference.
