Totally agree. Bad play call but lucked out due to blocking and clay making the 1st to save us. -Sent from my TMO Samsung Galaxy Note 3 using Tapatalk
That's not franchise and clutch stats. /end sarcasm -Sent from my TMO Samsung Galaxy Note 3 using Tapatalk
you arent understanding the distinction i made between the play call and just going for it on 4th down. going for it was correct, the play call itself sucked
tannehill had a damn nice game showing some signs lately also glad we didnt blitz at the end of the game for once
Pat's were all over it. Major bad tackling on their part with great blocking and Clay extending the play -Sent from my TMO Samsung Galaxy Note 3 using Tapatalk
Reporter: "Coach, how are you going to celebrate this win?" Philbin: "I don't know. I might jump in my pool."
Got to see the game but too many people over. Were there injury updates to Carroll, Grimes, and Wheeler? I know Soliai hurt his ankle, but didn't hear updates on the others. HUGE win, and a needle-moving game for Ryan Tannehill for the 2nd straight week.
I was fine with the call. Tannehill got it out a bit late due to the blitzer. Clay was never in danger of being tackled behind the line, it looked bad because he took a step in the wrong direction. Once he got to the final two tacklers IMO there was no chance of coming up short, he had the size and angle.
It was the right play call against the alignment, the pressure on RT almost blew it up. RT made a hell of an adjustment just to make the pass, the rest is what players are supposed to do, make plays.
I'm not sure I agree. It would a smart call against the blitz. Sherman guessed correctly about what NE would do. NE players adapted well and made it more difficult than you'd expect. Fortunately, RT, Sims and Clay also made plays.
Richie incognito ✔ @68INCOGNITO I'm so proud of the way our team fought and beat the PATRIOTS. Proud of my team for fighting through all the bull**** and getting the W!!
agree to disagree. you never go lateral on 4th down, you go vertical. it seems people are cool with the call because it worked but if the pats make the tackle behind the line of scrimmage people wouldve been apocolyptic. anyway we won, dont feel like arguing the call. more interested in feeling good about the win
i can't stand Brady. That win was for every team that has to put up with the media crap that comes with Brady and the lucky wins that comes with lame ref calling. Their 1st penaly came in late 3rd qtr. Phins earned this win and then some. Smug mode engaged. Happy freekin days!
I'm expecting New England to beat Baltimore next week and finish in the second seed. Miami would go on the road to Cinncinnati, Kansas City I think would beat Indy. Kansas City is the team you want lining up with New England in the playoffs.
