"ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Bills' home finale on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins will be blacked out, CEO Russ Brandon told the Buffalo News. According to the report, there are 16,000 tickets — over 20 percent of Ralph Wilson Stadium’s total capacity — that are still unsold. Current weather forecasts call for temperatures in the upper 30s with rain. The Bills were eliminated from the playoffs this past Sunday. This will be the first Bills game not shown on local television this season, and just the NFL's second blackout this season." At least we won't have to worry about the home crowd being a factor in the outcome of the game
Hope this doesn't effect my Directv viewing experience. Why you ask? Well, the Panthers game a few weeks ago was not on the regular 700 channels for me, luckily though it recorded (I was out of town) on another channel... IIRC 399. The recording barely caught the whole game, by like 5 minutes... CLOSE ONE! Had it been on the regular channel in the 700s, I set the recording to go 90 minutes longer anyway. I know, this is info you needed to have.

I'll be there. Got end zone seats down close to the field for $59 fees included few weeks ago. And for those of you who think traveling to Buffalo is a bad time - And for those of you with a passport:
Anyone been to the "Ralph" and Buffalo in general? Just curious if it'd be worth the drive to get there and if there's enough to do to make a weekend trip out of it. *Edit - nevermind, MonstBlitz pretty much summed it up with the above post.
Buffalo is a good time. Yeah, it's not the greatest city in the world but it's a man's man city. Good nightlife, bars are open till 4am, casinos on the American and Canada side of Niagara Falls. Great food. I forgot to add - Basically I eat and drink a lot when I go to Buffalo.
The Sundowner!! LOL. I have a hockey tournament every summer in Niagara Falls (Canada side) and the Downer is always a popular place to have a good time.
Haha, don't let DJ see those pics. A high school teammate of mine played in college at UB and has never come back; he loves it there. I've heard good things about it, just never been. I've also heard Bills fans aren't as bad as you'd expect them to be being a division rival.
Those are from Duffs. If you watch Food Network they had the big debate about whether Anchor Bar or Duffs are better. I'm partial to Duffs, but like both. But there are many other hole in the wall places in Buffalo that have even better wings. Basically throw a rock and you'll hit a joint that serves up amazing chicken wings.
So it'll be on CBS 4 right? I get South Florida channels in the Bahamas and I just want to watch the game.
BTW, hands off Monstblitz this week, he's going to the game. He can say whatever he wants about Jeff Ireland I'll just delete it before anyone sees it..
The Bills fans in my experience have been hit or miss. Some have been really cool. Others have been super drunken ***** and make it impossible to enjoy a game. They get SUPER loaded. Much more so than your average drunk fans at a stadium. Drunken idiots wandering around red eyed tongues hanging out of their mouths with Cartharts and Bills hats on just slurring "BILLLLLLLLLLLS" and fighting any opposing fan that looks at them funny.
There's something about them french canucks that is hard to explain. I can still remember my bachelor party like it was yesterday
I live in Toronto and have been to Buffalo for several games. Always decked out in Miami gear and can say I've never been so insulted in my life. Got called every name in the book, things thrown at me, etc. Just not really a fun time. The people there are.....unique. I don't mind competition and being insulted, but they are just idiots. I've been tolerant while there, and as soon as I say something back, the fans wanted to fight me. State troopers had to step in. For the most part, and by no means am I generalizing all of the people of Buffalo, but they are low-life scum man. Funny story. I was in the pisser, the big trough that they have, and everyone is heckling me. Not a dolfan in sight. Miami was also losing. They lost everytime I went, another reason I stopped going. You are welcome Dolfans. Anyway, I zipped up, smiled, and said "Hey guys, I heard a rumor, tell me if it is true. I heard Buffalo changed their area code to 0 for 4." I then proceeded to walk, briskly, back to my seat. Because ours are bottomless. Plus the downer is as easy as 2 + 2. Even with that, it is too complicated for the great folk of Buffalo.
That's all I would eat if I lived up there. It's a bit of a chore to find a place that makes really good wings. I started making them myself
Ha ha the Sundowner still going strong. I thought that place had closed down. I used to have a blast going down from St. Catharines to the games at the Ralph. I would do it again.
Depends on the state really. I know Miami has some great strip clubs. But Northern New York compared to Canada? No comparison. Plus, in US strippers tend to look like...strippers. When I go to Sundowners there always tend to be a lot of really attractive women that don't necessarily look like strippers if that makes any sense. Girl next door looking girls only naked.
If there, go to a place called Grover's, best wings and the burgers are ridiculously big.... Bry knows, he likes big things in him....
