WTF?!? Blitzing all game and we didn't throw a ONE RB screen all game. Not 1!!! DAMNIT Sherman!!! It's not rocket science. You call screens when they're blitzing a lot or getting up field quick. Football 101... I want to fight him right now...
Totally agree. I've been screaming at Sherman through my tv all game. His play calling is awful. It's been an issue all season
That's something I disagree with. There were times, where he started rolling TH out. And it worked. Why he refused do that today is something I'll never get.
I'm also tired of watching the bills get away with holding and Miami getting everything called against them.
We'll that strategy doesn't stop teams from blitzing Miami. He prefers going for the low percentage play and it hasn't been effective at taking what the defense is giving.
I'm not sure what the gameplan was today but it sure sucked. Their strength really matched up well against our weakness. Our gameplan, sit RTH back in the pocket and let them tee off on him....
Pitches, shovel passes, draws, etc.List goes on and on. These plays are completely absent from the playbook. Dinosaur ball.
No, but it stops giving the DL the same aiming point every pass play. Sherman sets the OL up to fail.. But of course we agree in general. I personally want him gone more than anyone.
So they wait til the last 5 mins to throw one to DT who flubs it lol Hilarious. Awful game from him today.
actually they were rushing four most of the game, and getting there... screens, the way we execute them, don't help us because we can't block the backers. don't have the ol to get out in space and block them CONSISTENTLY.
U don't blitz defensive linemen, u blitz using LB's and DB's. Sherman doesn't call plays that counter LB and DB blitzes. When the offense counters the blitz by rolling out, defenses will just adjust where the blitz comes from.
They did nothing to exploit the Bills sending edge blitzers, nothing. Just ran the same garbage over and over. Mike Sherman is incompetent. Quality quarterback play has masked it at times but when he is forced to scheme ad coach he has gotten his head kicked in all year.
Probably got busted for banging Sherman's daughter. Oh wait. His QB coach aka son in law already doing that. I meant his other daughters. -Sent from my TMO Samsung Galaxy Note 3 using Tapatalk
Meanwhile, the Eagles have run something like 7 screens in the first half to McCoy and they are murdering the Bears.
That offense must feel like a panacea for Foles. Dude makes zero decisions, runs plays that almost always work, his screens and dump offs get ran for a ton of YAC, and then he gets to throw to wide open mofos all the time. I think even I could throw for a couple hundred yards and a couple of scores in that offense.
Go Go! It doesn't matter if they run a screen or a draw. If they say "go", the defense knows its a pass. "Go, Go" means run. We can't fool anyone if we tried.
I just read the article is the Sentenel where the Bill CB said he ran the same blitz over and over and is still waiting for someone to block him. Are you serious? it made my blood boil. you think you would make an adjustment....any adjustment? what was worse? that noone cared to even block him or that our coaches did nothing....absolutely nothing to stop it??

Sherman needs to go back to college. And by that I mean he needs to enroll in classes and get his degree because he's a worthless football coach, he needs a career change. If he's back next year this offense has no hope.
I remember a woodshop teacher back in high school, who grew a bit too old for the job, and became completely oblivious to the merciless class clowns, who incessantly did whatever they pleased, right under his nose. Having missed the game today, I suspect the humiliation was eerily similiar to witness.
Does anyone not agree that Tannehill would be a more dangerous QB if he RAN more. Especially when our running game SUCKS. This team just doesnt make necessary adjustments. There were multiple times in the game where he could have stepped up and took off. Most of the pressure came from the tackles/ends. Maybe we need a new QB COACH. Oh by the way Brian Hartline... inexcusable day dude. That was choker WRing.
I think that's because he doesn't catch the ball with his hands enough. He's almost always trapping the ball on his chest. Wet conditions exposed that imo. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
