I really want to see what Tennehill does without the Sherman/Oline handicap. Sherman stinks.

Tannehill wasn't the main problem today. I'm not totally on board yet, but play calling killed everything today.

What I wouldn't give for Dan Henning. I mean that.

Thad Lewis was probably Buffalos worst all time QB, but they found a way to win twice. Make due, know your own weaknesses and find a way.

What I wouldn't give for a coordinator who isn't older than dirt.

Also falls circularly on Ireland and triangularly on the offensive line, as well as octoganonaly on Wheeler.

not sure how that can be, the coaches can only do so much. the talent on this Oline is horrendous and to be honest I think it is on the coaches for getting what they did out of the crap we call an offensive line (and it is...)

this has to rank right up behind the 62-7 debacle as far as embarrassing losses go.

Clearly our only course of action is to extend the contract of Jeff Ireland. For the past six years, aside from extending Tony Sparano that one time , that seems to be our answer to sucking.

I was going to type a post-game review, but all you really need to know is this:

Miami called a weak-side stretch run, into the boundary, with Daniel Thomas on like 2nd & 7. Enough said.

2nd and 7 is generous, I think it was more like 10 - and one word summary...

    the poor house
its not just losing that angers me its who we have lost to . 1 TO TAMPA BAY a bad Tampa Bay and to the Bills twice this should never be acceptable .

there is no sin in losing to the Saints or to Baltimore but losing to the Bills and we nearly lost last weekend and to the steelers.

Or play a team with the worst Oline in the history of the league and call blitzes all day lol.

See, I barely post about him. I really don't at all. But I made ONE post yesterday about him and had to defend myself against personal attacks like being called biased, a cultist, and lacking in logic and reason. Seriously, check my post history, before yesterday, you will barely see a negative post, let alone one about Jeff.

But, the moderator and members who mixed me with the regular Ireland bashing members posted #ExtendIreland in a huge amount of threads this summer so I'm essentially just doing what they did to fit in.

I've never been as disrespectful to them as they've been to me so I'm going into full annoying mode.

Tbh, I rolled my eyes when guys like MonstBlitz would complain about systematic silencing and dismissal. But now that I've been misconstrued as a negative poster, I agree fully. Why can Stringer Bell post #ExtendIreland in every thread to support him, but I can't make one damn negative post about him?

Fin D has been the only reasonable one and that's because Desperados of Filth stick together.

Just ignore it. Don't troll. It's just a difference of opinion.

Just root for New England and SD wins!

I am not defending Philbin, Ireland, or any of the coaching staff. Yet I don't know how you can blame them when Hartline dropped pass after pass. Tannehill had Wallace open deep and never got the ball to him. The OL looked like they were a step behind the Bills defense all day long.

The defense couldn't stop the run and they consistently gave up first downs on 3rd and long. They let a backup QB who played without their top receiver for the entire game and their second best receiver for most of the second half, make play after play on them throughout the game.

I really don't care if Ireland is fired and Philbin and his staff are all fired after this season. Nothing is going to change for this team until they get better talent throughout the roster. They just don't have enough play makers or either side of the ball to be anything more than what they are right now. That is a team who can rise up and beat a good team one week and fall flat on their faces against the bottom teams in the NFL.

That is on the players and not the coaches. Until this team has more overall talent, mediocre is the best we can hope for as fans. When you go into Buffalo with the playoffs on the line and you play like crap, that is the responsibility of the players.

I have wanted Ireland replaced for the past two years. Philbin still has to prove he is the right man for the job and if Ross decides to get rid of him or keep him, I'm okay either way. I just know that this team needs a lot more talent throughout the roster before they become a legitimate playoff team in the NFL. Hopefully many of the other fans who have defended the talent level on this team will realize this also after the beating the Dolphins were handed in Buffalo today. Zero and two against the Buffalo Bills says all that needs to be said about the state of the Dolphins right now.

Coaches can only do so much? Is one of those things never caling a screen, draw, or rollout?

I have a hard time believing that the Bills are more talented than Miami. Today's loss was a bad one for the coaching staff. There are certainly deficiencies with the talent for Miami, but that does not excuse a lot of what is happening. Theres no reason why your protection call ends up with Daniel Thomas trying to block Dareus one on one.

You just kept on waiting for some answer from Sherman..any answer. It never came. They ran the same blitzes over and over and all we did was take it. No screens..no rollouts. You kept on trying to protect with Miller and Thomas even after they showed they couldn't handle the job

No but they can put players in position to succeed. One example would be screen vs a blitz or moving pocket when u cant block.
