Ah, the illusion of control. Somehow, the offensive coordinator has more control over the execution of plays than the players do.

Who's telling Daniel Thomas to block Marcell Darius?

Considering that Daniel is terrible at recognizing who he needs to be blocking, it is hard to pin that on the OC.

You mean the OC is too dumb to realize this after how many years?

....and he's been given who by the GM so we don't have to use Daniel Thomas? Remember, this GM picked Thomas in the 2nd round of the draft.

And out of the however many Rbs we've had in camp he never found anyone better for that play? Yet he knows DT can't pull it off and tries it anyway?

Seems to me a pragmatic man would either go away from this play call or have someone else in whom they thought could do the job. Unless of course you have a Philbin hated DT source ready to go.

I watched the game with a Bills fan and told him before the game I don't like this match up. They are the Dolphins kryptonite. They run the ball really well, we don't stop the run very well anymore. They wreak havoc on OL's and opposing QB's. We have the worst OL in the NFL. I figured we'd need 2 turnovers to win this game with the defense probably scoring one of them. We didn't show up but at the same time, they match up very well against our roster weakness.

Nope not surprised but would like to see a solid win over the Jests, Jests, Jests just for Cromartie's sake and maybe make a lil playoff cheddar. Then see where our off season heads too. Pick up some better free agent O-Lineman for starters among other things. That and not see my fellow Fin fans argue less about so many trivial things.

One of the reasons that the Bills run the ball so well is LT Cordy Glenn, who was drafted one pick ahead of Jonathan Martin in 2012. Then and obviously now I liked him way better than Martin, would have been nice to get him.

Yeah I'm not buying this, especially when it comes to Cincinnati. They're an entirely different team at home. They're dynamic at Paul Brown Stadium and I think their record speaks to that: 7-0.

They also put up points in droves, below are their point totals for their seven home games to date:

    20
    34
    13
    49
    41
    42
    42

I think, as evidenced by the numbers above, we're most definitely one-and-done if the fruits of our playoff labor take us to Cincinnati on Wild Card weekend. Miami beating them at Sun Life on a short-week during the regular season is the furthest thing from being predictive when it comes to a potential match up with them next week.

I'd rather take my chances @ NE or @ IND. @ CIN is pretty close to worst case scenario when it comes to WC weekend.
