I think you have confused, "devoid of talent", with "not a lot of talent". Every team in the NFL has a half dozen quality players on their roster, including the Dolphins. The better teams have key play makers on both sides of the ball and a higher quality of above average players on their roster. They also have coaching staffs who know how to get the maximum out of their players.

This is why these teams are at the top of the rung in the NFL and the Dolphins are like the vast majority of the teams in the NFL, MEDIOCRE.

hes been too vital to our defense this season. we'll make moves in the front 7
in order to keep him I think.

Sherman isn't a UFA this offseason anyway is he? RFA maybe.

So you're that guy whom Miko got into it with on twitter, hoping he wouldn't make the Pro Bowl to keep his price down.

That was a stop watch. Reggie was timing his hang times.

Wake missed time with injury and played at less than 100% for a couple of games around that time too.

Definitely have to take that into account. I love OV but Wake is just a more dynamic player. It seemed to me that a lot of OV's sacks were a result of great secondary play. That bought him a few more seconds to beat his man and get to the QB. Wake on the other hand is just a beast and gets off the line with such explosion that gives him the edge. Let's not even get into all the holding calls that are missed in every game.

I'd say what we have know is "key play makers" on both sides of the ball. We finally have a QB and along with pass rushers and pass defenders and receiving targets those are the key play making positions. Additionally, we have a coach who understands that being able to pass and defend the pass is the key to winning. He may be slow to trust young players and the staff may be a bit stubborn in their adaptation, but there has been development and some adaptation.

Kind of ironic we sent an OL as we've given up the most sacks.
