Sherman fired coyle retained philibjn retained ireland I can't figure out. I expect Tannehill to regress and Miami is same average team.
I agree with some of that but I don't see Tannehill regressing. I'm not going to make any excuses for him but I doubt we see regression from him. If anything we will see improvement. The talent is there regardless of how upset we are with him right now.
FWIW I thought Sherman called a pretty good game today. IMO the players just played poorly. If Wallace catches that bomb it's 14-0, if Matthews catches the crosser we are in business, if Wallace doesn't fall down there's no INT and we at least get a FG, if Tannehill goes head first we never fail on 4th and 1. Fields has his worst game of the season. Not a single player on offense, defense or ST made a play.
Not that I totally disagree but still, you have it the opposite. You don't continue to give up long drives all season with the game(s) and season on the line and expect to win. At least, last game you can blame Wallace being a diva and the crossing route to Moore? drop being a big difference in the game. We lost 14 points because....
I expect MR Ross to still be clueless . I expect we will finish last in the division next season . I expect that the stadium will be empty in the home opener next season. I expect enough anger of dolphin fans to let Ross know how unhappy we are. I expect Tannehill to be better next year . I expect to see us draft a tight end and a runningback and I wont be surprised if we drafted two running backs .
No doubt the big play to Wallace may change this game. Another inaccurate throw by Tannehill. I think the issue was another poor, failed 4th and short call. The same play call tendencies - particularly on specific down amd distances. How about thst poor screen pass call to Wallace on 3rd after it failed earlier? I mean Tannehill double pumping killed it too.
Yeah that 4 and 1 hand off to Clay was pure genius. Game was essentially over once that was predictably stuffed
Confused - amazed - dissapointed I'm no expert here but can someone please explain the offensive play calling scheme to me. Sherman is not the answer. This offensive is so lame it is disheartening. I understand the fact we are loaded with overpaid underachievers. Our O line needs overhauled and cannot block for *****footing running backs, we have no beasts in the backfield, cannot run slants or screens or deep balls or anything else for that matter. Secondary has it's issues as well. It just goes on and on and on.
