Anyone reading David Canter's twitter feed?

I can't link the tweets right now, but fans should follow and look.

He's pretty tapped into players and he has some serious damning words for the coaching staff.

There's not much inside stuff on his feed right now, just the ranting of a guy who blames the coaching staff for the players' lack of enthusiasm. Not sure how it's the coaching staff's fault that the players themselves didn't feel anything. That's on the players, buddy.

Pretty much. The players lost the game, not the staff, not the GM or the owner.

Thanks for posting the links Stringer.

He's been off and on about Ireland. He's said that Ireland has always been upfront and honest with him though.

He's been fairly consistent with Philbin though..

To think he's not recanting (pun intended) some of the thoughts of his players is naivete. No doubt his bias have been formed by players thoughts and dealings with Ireland and Philbin.

David Canter is understandably defending his clients who are out there on the field, and he is clearly not a neutral party offering an unbiased, objective opinion in this case.

As far as the actual content of his comments, if a team doesn't have confidence in the plan drawn up by the coaches it's usually pretty apparent, and the reality of human nature is that lack of confidence turns into dropped heads and a lack of energy on the field.

I know he is Soliai's agent. I think there are others but i can't remember who. He also tweeted he represents a member of the coaching staff too.

OK. Well, the owner hires the GM and the coaches. They then get and coach those players that lost the game. So...

Talent doesn't mean sh** when you are losing at the LOS on both sides of the ball. It's tough to determine how much of the blame goes to the GM vs the Coaches. The OL has to be the GM. The DL goes to Coyle. The Lb's go to Ireland.

One of the problems I see is we lack that veteran, go-get-it, offensive presence on the field that doesn't crumble in big moments and can fire up and rally the offense. The closest we have is a friggin midseason left tackle acquisition. In that regard I feel a greater onus falls on the HC and OC to help get them fired up and on spot, and Sherman can go **** himself..... with Philbin not far behind.

we shouldn't be losing at the LOS on defense, especially not against an oline that's allowed a combined 130 sacks and QB hits. I'm inclined to put that aspect on coaching/scheme.

Maybe Kelvin Benjamin and CJ Fiedorowicz. Benjamin concerns me a bit as per speed and quicks, suddenness, but I think that those two players could add something to this offense, big go-to players with huge catch radiuses (radii?).

One of many reasons Coyle should be let go. Our defense scheme does not maximize the talent we have. We have several players playing in the wrong base defense. On top of that, his blitzing scheme seems to be completely ineffective. I'm not sure if that's a result of the LB'ers Ireland brought in or Coyle's defense.

If you don't think the "staff" has anything to do with losing you are crazy or blind. Players obviously have a large role to play, but so do coaches. Horrific plan in the last two games, and the spots where there were opportunities, there was horrific execution.

I just don't know how anyone could say with a straight face (or without an immense bias towards their own agenda) that the coaches had nothing to do with losing this game.

No one stepped up when we needed it the most, everyone sunk into oblivion the last two weeks. Coaches and players alike.

He's dead on about the coaching staff. The team isn't loaded with talent, but they're god-awful.

He's pretty clearly expressed the idea that Ireland should be fired in the past.

CJ would be an upgrade over Egnew and Sims. He is a great blocker, plays in a ZBS and is a big target. My only concern is his speed. He's not a burner but he's got great size and good hands.

Well if he's "tied into the players" then of course he's going to say this. He's biased.

He also is not an NFL expert by any means. Just because he's an insider doesn't mean he has any clue as to how to coach or run a team. This is just hot air.

Maybe we should ask Drew Rosenhaus what the the dolphins should do? How many agents have won SBs running a team?

    Waste of a thread, imo.

He's got like three clients on the team, and they're all defensive linemen.
