While reminding us of the obvious ( he was open all year) the most curious comment is claiming some were not "hungry enough"...

I don't think this is a figure of speech, Mike came from a winning organization and culture. Makes me wonder wich players in that locker room are taking their jobs serious and who is just soaking up the sun.

Not sure I trust the vets..

I remember I think it was d-Pate who said after a couple wins after the bucs, that the team was winning in spite of its coach..

Looks like they may of taken matters into their own hands for a bit then didn't have the inspiration to finish on their own..

    Really disturbing finish.

Really disappointing Qb play, front 7 play and oline.

Most disappointing season that I remember. Total tease.

IMO that the culprits are too many. It's all over the place.

I agree with everyone here. This is a total team and organizational fail. From the top to the GM to the head coach to the assistants to the players. The biggest question I have with this team is where is the leadership? Who are the leaders on this team? Who rallies the defense to circle the wagons? What about on offense?

I think outside of the roster having some major holes and some issues with coaching this roster lacks chemistry and leadership. When you look at last years leaders, Long, Bush and Dansby, they are all gone.

The organization is infested with "culprits."
From top to bottom. And that is the problem.

I just can't get on board with the idea that this collapse topped the '02 implosion. Perhaps I'm biased, being at Foxborough on that miserable week 17 Sunday afternoon, but that team was a legitimate player in the AFC had they found their way into the playoffs. Hell, they had just knocked off the eventual AFC representative in the SB two weeks prior (Oakland). This year's version was one-and-done, at best. They were a sacrificial lamb at Cincinnati next weekend.

This doesn't even come close to topping 2002. This team was up and down and up and down all year long.

In 2002 we beat Oakland and we're at the top of the conference, then we lost the last two in heartbreaking fashion and didn't even make the playoffs.

I compare this team more to the 2010 team.

Tannehill is finally entering the picture as a culprit in my mind. He is certainly not alone, but those last two games were among his worst.

I think some non-head coaches need to go. O line of course. I think we need a good tall reciever. If wallace is 6.3 that at least 3-4 less ints. One yesterday for sure

I said this many times during our winning streaks this year, and I got absolutely killed for it. Even when we were winning games, they were always close and we ALWAYS played the game that our opponent wanted to play. Not once this year did we impose our will and play the game that we wanted to play. We always fall right into our opponent's strengths, and that means the players were winning despite the coaches.

Tannehill had two big games against two inferior teams. He chocked big time. I'm starting to question him now. Not sure he is the answer. I'd draft a QB if one falls to us.

How good is your QB going to be when he is sacked 58 times in a season? I mean honestly what can you expect when he is on his back that often. I am convinced RT played the last two games hurt which is why he was ineffective. You don't have the performance you do against NE, and turn around and just **** the bed twice in a row like that unless something is wrong. The play calling was horrendous. Like the dolphins were trying to not lose the games rather then trying to win them.

Tannehill would have likely been close to 30 TD's and 4500 yards if you cut his sack total in half, or even get it down to league average.

RT had more passing yards, more TD's, and fewer INT's than Joe Flacco and was sacked 10 more times, for all of you on this board that wanted to draft Flacco so many years ago.

RT finishes the season: 10th in Passing Yards, Tied for 12th in TD's (Cam Newton and Carson Palmer and 1TD behind Tom Brady), Tied 7th for INT's (Matt Ryan), and he finished .1% behind Tom Brady in completion percentage, while being sacked 18 more times.

Jets the first time I will agree were inferior, but Pittsburgh and New England??? Those are good teams and he played great.
