So I just got this phone last night for a pretty killer deal. It's Sprint's answer to the iPhone I guess. I'm no phone super-guru, but it's pretty cool. My brother has the iPhone so I've used it a ton. While I'd say the iPhone still has a prettier interface and is a tad easier to use... This thing does a whole lot that the iPhone can't... Like full on GPS, Video recording, Live TV stations, radio, Internet radio... and prolly stuff I can't think of (which will no doubt be in the iPhone2 -- coming July 11th). So I guess that's it... Anyone else got one? Something similar? http://samsunginstinct.com/?cid=ppc_ins_goo_Instinct_Brand_samsung+instinct
Work is springing for me to get the 9800 PDA at the end of the month. I tinker with its stinker earlier this week. Not as good as that phone, but a decent phone nonetheles (for $500 it better be). My question is, when does finhell come back?
I have an iPhone. I've used one of these though. I agree, the "operating system" on the iPhone is much better but this thing does have a few nice extra features. For me though the big thing is the service, Sprint is garbage in my area. I can't wait til the software update next week for the iPhone.
I picked one up for me and he wife last week. Its really nice phone, love the live tv and internet. And for the price 229 plus a 100 dollar mail in rebate makes it pretty cheap phone.
I am pretty sure I will be switching to one soon from my PPC-6700. I am really waiting for the HTC phone with Windows Mobile 7, it will have motion and light sensors along with some other cool things.
I decided against the Instinct simply because it's not really geared towards what I do. I have to have Windows Mobile. Traded my 6700 for a Moto Q9C with WM 6.1. I would have liked the Instinct better if the screen were a bit wider. Little too narrow for my taste. But I like where they're going with it. Lots of great features. And Sprint's network is awesome around here.
That phone is pretty sweet. I have the Samsung Glyde with Verizon. Why does it seem Verizon has great service but can't keep up with newer phones? The Glyde is ok, touchscreen, gps, etc. but that Instinct looks much better. I am waiting on the day that Verizon gets a "baller" phone. Their phones suck, imo.
I'm picking up the 3G iPhone at some point. My T-Mobile contract expires on the 27th, but I can get out of it early, so I'm weighing my options.
