That 1-15 year and the 4-12 year really killed our playoff chances if we had any.

3.5 games ahead of the Bills and 13 behind the Jets. Can we stop pretending to be better than people yet?

It's been a sad, sad decade to be a Dolphins fan. We didn't know how good we had it back in 2000-2003.

Only better than the Bills, Browns, Raiders in the AFC.

This is just simply a hapless franchise with a hapless owner.

This also reminds me of several years ago Boomer had posted a thread in Club level about the demise of the "Patriot Way" and that Belichick really was not as great as everyone thought - his drafts were faltering, etc. And, indeed, he had some bad drafts. But, the reality is, with massive turnover in players, and a season full of injuries or disasters to key players at key positions - somehow the Pats are 12-4.

It is just an amazing thing to behold the level of ineptitude versus the level of competence and the insane gap in those areas between Miami and Boston. About as wide a gap as the actual distance between the two cities.

Ross should simply look at that and as, do I really want to continue down this road?

Saw that on reddit and thought, there's the reason I'm happier in the summer. We're aware of how the Patriots have dominated the AFCE but seeing it in a neat little chart really drives the point home. Sad stuff.

Wow. Rams. Lions. Browns. Raiders. Bills. Only 5 in the NFL we are better then in the past 10 years.

Frankly wish I never seen that stat. Depressing.

It illustrates how much a handful of teams have just completely dominated the AFC. The NFC has had much more parity and variety over that span.

Anyone looking at that graphic would have a hard time arguing that the Colts didn't suck for Luck, double digit win seasons every year bar one...

35-45 under Ross as majority owner! And 8-8 has been best year...no wonder he isnt making any changes...this was the high-water mark for him.
    :pity:

Which gives a clean visual that supports what I've been saying since year 2 of this nightmare: Jeffyboyo is the king of mediocrity. If mediocrity was a goal, he would be able to buy his own team after a few years' worth of performance bonuses.

Oh, lord...I just gave myself a chill down to my bones at the thought of Jeff Ireland owning a team.

Yeah, Ross must be thinking 8-8 is amazing. These are new heights for him as majority owner 8wins in a single season....and he is clearly thinking Jeff Ireland was part of 11-5 season, "oh baby, just need more time, more time (rubbing hands together)".

Brother, the average IQ in the U.S is 98. An "aha!" moment, to be sure.

So you're saying we should round up the average IQ of Ireland/Philbin supporters vs their detractors?

Not sure you'd see anything significant. Studies have actually shown that people with higher IQs tend to have opinions more out of left field. The reasoning is that because of their higher capacity for intelligence they sre more easily able to defend non-status quo opinions.

In other words...the IQ of the posters and where they may or may not align means nothing.
