Someone get Fin D a dictionary, stat! ;)

On a serious note, can we stop reading Mando articles until Ireland is fired? He's clearly shooting for one team right now.

    100%.

I cant watch the team beat the Jets, Steelers, Patriots, Bengals, Colts, Falcons, Chargers then lay eggs vs the Bills, Bucs, Ravens, Jets, and say it's a talent issue.

Who's fault? It's everyone's fault. But mainly the players and to a lesser extent the coaches.

And that's no less of a copout than trying to pin it all on one or two individuals.

This is 1 million percent speculation on Mando's part. Can't believe people still take this guy seriously.

So then why are you still here if spending Sundays watching football is dull to you?! Shouldn't you be in your capri pants with an easter egg sweater tied around your neck chatting away in your snooty golf forum? Seriously dude, just leave. Save the football talk for the people who, you know, actually like football.

Ugh, GM I just realized from your post, we defeated every AFC playoff team we faced. 4-1.... (split with pats)

I'm willing to wager that with better coaching, preparation, we wouldn't be tanking against inferior competition.

Lack of talent on the roster is the last thing that comes mind, honestly.

Everyone I know who thinks golf is a waste of time are generally people who have tried the game and were terrible at it. So it doesn't bother me that many people do not like the game. That just means that there are far fewer hackers on the course slowing down play.

I have played golf for over 50 years and it is the one sport I can still play today as well as I did when I was in my 20's. I may not hit the ball as long as I did when I was younger, but my short game is a lot better today than it was then. I was a 2 handicap at age at 25 and I'm a 2 handicap today at age 63.

I would love to still be out playing football and basketball on weekend , but I stopped doing that in my late 40's because it just took my body too long to recover after playing against guys who were several years younger than me.

I enjoy watching the Dolphins and several college football teams, but I would rather be out competing on the golf course than sitting around and trying to determine how my fantasy league players did that week. Perhaps when I get into my late 80's or 90's and my golf game has gone to crap, I'll be bored enough to get into fantasy football. Right now though, I would rather be out playing and not just sitting around and watching.

You can do both. Fantasy football takes very little time. I have done fantasy football with wanting to win, so actually trying and it took about 15 minutes a week, maybe 30 if someone wants to trade. If you are playing golf with friends you could easily do all your fantasy footballing walking to your ball, riding in the golf cart between holes or when they are shooting. You are acting like fantasy football takes an afternoon.

If you love going to a bar and watching football all day, then fantasy football adds a bit more fun. If you are a casual fan of football and want to add more excitement in watching games that do not include the team you love, fantasy football is perfect.

Your point makes so little sense. Playing fantasy football would take zero time away from playing golf. At worst it might cut into your masturbation time. However you could probably watch porn and do your fantasy football team at the same time as well.

lest we forget the Bills and their manhandling of us, twice.... not to be confused with the Pats running the ball down their throats two days ago... to the tune of well over 200 plus yards rushing. ehem...

I don't spend Sundays watching football. I play golf in the morning if the Dolphins have an away game and get home in time to watch the game. If the game is in Miami, I go to the game and I don't play golf on that day.

The last I checked, this is a, "Dolphin forum", and I am a Dolphin fan. I just have no interest in the other teams in the NFL, unless the Dolphins happen to be playing them.

I happen to love college football, so it isn't a matter of me liking football or not. I just have no interest in any NFL team but the Dolphins, so why would I want to waste my time watching them play when I could be out on the golf course instead.

It appears I hit someones nerve because I have no interest in fantasy football. Yet as I stated earlier, this is a forum about the Dolphins and not a fantasy football forum. When it becomes a fantasy football forum, I assure you I will be happy to leave. Until then, I'll continue to write my comments regarding the Dolphins, whether you like it or not.

As far as my Capri pants and Easter egg sweater are concerned. You might need that type of clothing up there in NC, but down here in South Florida, shorts and a nice golf shirt is the only thing required to play a round of golf. I'm sure you probably have a nice picture of yourself in Capri pants and an Easter egg sweater you could share with all of us.

Right, my point is we beat every playoff team we faced, including the pats, but lost ( got manhandled by ) teams like the bills....
Not sure what your trying to say there.... How many rushing attempts did we have in that bills game anyway ? Playing from behind is a different ball game.

How do you coach an offensive lineman not to get overpowered? Some have the ability and some don't. Except for Pouncey, the people we have up front don't have the ability to do what the coaches ask them to do. And that's what's wrong with our offense.

Perhaps you don't get it. I have zero interest in fantasy football, but thanks for thinking that at my age I spend a lot of time watching porn or masturbating. I will assure that masturbating was something I was much better at in my 20's. Once you get into your 60's, it just isn't worth the time or effort it takes. Fortunately my Italian wife of the past 40 years takes care of those needs for me and therefore I don't have to rely on porn or my hands.

If porn is what gets you off, that's sad for you.

Yeah me too, 2 cents is legit..

Hmm, doesn't keep us from dreamin about someone cool..

The problem is joe is on a three year contract, as outside coaching prospects look on, it creates a negative perception if your firing coaches before their contract is up..

I wonder if 2 cents would let us know if it was a coaching prospect or a GM one..

No it's obvious you don't get it. Not everyone wants to be a fantasy football fan. I don't care how little time it takes, I just have no interest in getting into fantasy football, no matter how little time it takes. I have no problem with you or anyone else who wants to watch football all day and loves to also be involved in fantasy football leagues.

Perhaps because I don't watch the other teams play during the regular season, unless it is against the Dolphins, I am not into what the other players around the league are doing each Sunday. When I was younger, I watched every game and knew the players much better than I do today. I guess because I am only a Dolphin fan and have no interest in other teams, this is probably why I have no interest in being involved in a league that has players from different teams on their fantasy team. Perhaps many years ago when I watched a great deal more NFL games, I might have been more interested in fantasy football, but not now.

If you enjoy it and it fun for you, that's all that matters.

I don't hate Mangini as much as everyone else it appears, he was a 35 year old head coach.

It won't be the first time I was whipped on the golf course. Heck, I played with a 17 year old young man two weeks ago and I shot a 75 and he beat me by 7 shots with a 68.

I just enjoy the competition at my age, even if I'm not always the one with the lowest round in the cart. I will tell you though that I have made far more money on the golf course over the years than I have lost.

It's not always about the winning though. It is about getting out on a great golf course and competing against the course. That is what I love the most about the game. I don't go anywhere on vacation without my golf clubs.

Still think there is a possibility Ross will let Ireland go, and would not be surprised at him giving Aponte more power over operations with Gaine stepping into the GM spot (but not with full power).

However, the rest of this, dead on. Wish I could give you 10 fist pumps.
