We don't have basements in South Florida and while I kid around about her a lot with friends and even on here today. I was very fortunate when I married her.

Yea I agree. That is why I stopped playing putt putt golf and just play on the big boy courses. Those windmill blades got me every time.

Basing your opinion soley on record is a very poor way of analyzing someone but I feel the need to let you know that their records were a lot closer than you're trying to make them sound.

Ireland is a train wreck but Tannenbaum was worse

 

Ross would have to be abysmally stupid not to consult with people outside the organization regarding what's wrong with it, because within it, he's only going to get CYA-type information from people trying to save their jobs. Regardless of whether his other businesses have anything to do with football, you don't make multi-billions in a place like New York without having the sense to get an independent expert to consult with when you're not an expert in the subject yourself. That lends a lot of common-sense cred to what 2 cents is saying.

This is why it's somewhat silly to have thought that Ross was going to go on a Black Monday massacre. I'm sure he's quite ticked off, but people in his position don't make hasty, emotional business decisions. He has been listening to his advisory committee since Bullygate, and we can be sure the advice he's been receiving has gone beyond the locker room scandal and into the deficiencies in the whole organization. I have to think that Ross is thinking things through very deliberately and that change is coming, but on his schedule.

 

I agree that he has been being advised by people like Marino and Shula since bullygate. Hell he announced that. I disagree that any significant change is coming soon. If it was he would of announced it once our season was officially over. He is going to ride things out with his current staff at least one more season

I agree Tannenbaum is not the right choice. But Ross extended both Sparano and Ireland. So I guess that makes Ross a worse owner than Tannenbaum was a GM.

At least the Jets owner finally fired Tannebaum for his failures as the Jets GM. Any idea how we can fire Ross for his stupidity?

 

Tannenbaum at least put together a roster that was able to reach the AFC Championship a couple of times. Better than anything Ireland has done. Not saying he'd be my choice for the next GM, but he isn't worse than Ireland.

 

He knows how to assemble an O-Line.
