Lets see we lost to the bills twice and the jets and bucs who at the time didn't even have a win.So back to your other post no we wouldn't be in the playoffs because we play down to the level of our opponents.
Yes we would be. The Bills match up with us very well. Their strength directly correlates with our biggest weakness. You can't say that about the Titans, Jags, and Texans. If we replaced our 6 division games with the Colts six division games we would have atleast 10 wins.
Stop whining. We don't deserve to win any division if we can't finish better than 8-8 to make the final wildcard spot even though we had two straight chances against losing teams to do so. How about caring more about improving the team and staff than wanting to rearrange the conferences to provide us a goddam handicap. What's next, would you like the rules to be changed to 5 downs when Miami has the ball?
Why you so grumpy today? Atleast a football team you like accomplished something the past few years. (Clemson)
Not whining at all. Just arguing the logic that Luck is so much better than Tannhill, despite relatively equal stats, because he made the playoffs a couple years if you read other posts of mine on this board I am all for Ireland, Sherman, and Turner being fired. I'm on the fence with Philbin and Coyle.
I've got a cold and my nose ran nonstop throughout the night till about 9 am when I finally fell asleep. Today it couldn't be more sore if I rubbed it for an hour against Rosy O'Donnell's two day old shaven ***. oh, and.......
Stats schmats. Luck > Tannehill without question. He has 9 4th quarter comeback wins the past 2 years, including the amazing one yesterday. He makes the plays when they need to be made, and he does a good job of efficiently stringing together successful drives to put points on the board, which doesn't show up in the stat column and is significantly more important than a QB's overall game stats.
not sure that will cure it. Will probably stick to Cold Eeze and Robitussin. .......unless you're talking about celebrating the Clemson win.
No where did I argue that Luck wasn't better than Tannehill. I argued that using playoff appearances between the two is a flawed way to argue superiority. I don't know why you keep trying to argue random points that I never made. Btw, our guy has 5 career 4th quarter comebacks and probably would have more if our defense could've held on a few times.
Luck took a 2 win team in 2012 and they went 11-5 his rookie year. This year 11-5 again and one the greatest comebacks in nfl history. He is the colts.Stats are meaningless unless you win.
Dalton really makes you scratch your head.... those receivers... two badass tight ends... stud running back... how is it possible not to score minimum 21 points per game, an average quarterback should be able to.
That is because he is average at best, he's the worst type of QB to have IMO....because he puts up just good enough numbers to deceive the organization and the fans into thinking they are "set" at QB. This guy has every advantage imaginable yet he is sabotaging a very very talented football team.
I'm sure many teams would leap at the chance to sign Dalton so if the Bengals want to curb him after a playoff-season...they would definitely get some kind of return. Then again this could just be a case of a glass-half-empty fanbase blowing this loss out of proportion.
An "intentional" 2 win team...let's not forget that. All things equal, I'd say Luck is slightly ahead of Tannehill, but I also think Indy has better coaches. That comeback was what it was...a lot of it Luck, a lot of it KC. Frank Reich did the same thing to the Oilers...how'd his career end up?
When playoff intensity arrives, the pocket becomes more of a dangerous place to be, without awareness, and swift maneuverability, you have little chance to win. He must get better, and his new coach must utilize the whole skillset to gain any advantage we can get.
Man I wish slightly was the word I could see when it comes to the comparison. That's not really a slight on Ryan, but I already have luck as elite.
Ryan needs an explosive receiver..a bell cow running back..another stud tight end..and four Olineman upgrades.. I've got to take these things into account..and he's got to use his legs more, and understand what he needs to do from a leadership standpoint.
