Alot of talk about Marino on Finsiders....not necessarily as GM..but as something Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
Nice. Regardless of whether one is an Ireland supporter or not, the reality is, the team had to move in a different direction. Even if they go "in-house" on this one I think they needed a new start - there's just too much baggage.
Nothing that says new GM won't have say in coaching staff. Look for an internal hire, though... So Philbin stays, IMO.
Thank god. If I had to listen to one more irrational firelander I was going to shoot myself in the face.
Mutual agreement. Very shrewd move allowing everyone to save face. I wonder how much Ireland's mutual agreement cost Stephen Ross. Of course we'll hire someone even worse now, but for one night, I can be a happy camper again.
No doubt...this team needed this more then you can say....in one move Ross just injected optimism again. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
I don't get the Gus Malzahn love. He is great at misdirection running plays and the wildcat style of running; but his passing attack is not that sophisticated. I just don't see him as a guy who will be a great pro coach.
Do you know who he had at qb? Malzahn is a coach who builds around what he has. He is going to be one heck of a pro coach. Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
Don't get your hopes up. If we hire Eric Mangini, I will personally create a Fireric thread every 12 hours. And I'll have good reason, too.
