See the post above. Apparently you think Parcells was a ghost too. I'm just curious why you feel the need to give him a free pass is all, especially when he was even worse than Ireland.
That's pretty ironic considering EVERYONE mentioned in this thread is gone. So maybe we should just close the thread and move on, yo. If we're talking about most hated in history, why does Ireland get all the hatred from the past 6 years and Parcells get none? Why can't they be separated into 2 entities and each be hated on their own merit?
That is a good point. If you hate Ireland so much, how can you not hate the guy who brought him in and quit on the team even more?
Absolutely. Parcells was worse then Ireland and even more of an *ss. He should be far more hated than Ireland other than Ireland was more recent. One of the silliest arguments ever made on these boards was pretending that Parcells wasn't the GM when everybody knew he was in charge.
Because it no longer has any importance to the team. You can believe whoever you want is at fault, but its no longer important and it doesn't matter if people change their minds or not. I personally don't think Ireland is as bad as some suggest, but I realize he is gone and the past is the past.
I didn't know I needed to reaffirm my hatred of Bill Parcells. Do I? Ok. Yes, I hate Bill Parcells. More than Jeff Ireland? I'm not sure. He did more for Miami in his short time here than Ireland did, even if his blueprint was about 20 years outdated. I hate him for installing a puppet regime who did nothing but fail. Ask me in a few years and I'll know which guy I hate worse.

I didny say its not okay to talk or voice. I said having a huge debate is worthless. The debate has gone on two or three years now. Do you really think anyone will budge at this point?
When Parcells and Ireland were here together, it was a cooperative effort. One cannot totally point the finger at just one or the other. It's a false dichotomy to say this year or that year had to be either Parcells' fault or Ireland's fault, when in actuality there was blame to go around. I seem to recall reading them both saying they agreed on 98% of the personnel moves. Whomever was right or wrong on the other 2% didn't make or break things.
