This is the be-all and end-all. a healthy balance of protein, carbs and fat. And it's not a diet, it's a way of eating forever.

Click on the "recipes" link and you have literally thousands of good meals. And the best part is, after the first few days, when you feel out of sorts because of the portion control, you feel GREAT because you're eating the balanced diet that's perfect for your body.

Uh-uh. Coffee is good for you. WAY good for you. It has phytochemicals that are great for you, and the caffeine is now considered beneficial.

Decided tonight I'm going to attempt taking my 10 and 7 year old daughters to Disney by myself this spring. Can't tell if my wife will be happy with a break or mad that she has to stay behind because of work.

Only two things I haven't seen at Disney (been there about 12 times), it's the flower and garden festival and Star Wars weekend. I'm going in May to hit the second one, if the garden festival is there, I'm going to be stoked.

I was there in late April 2013 and it was there. First time they had food booths too almost like the food and wine festival. You'll love it if it's there. Your kids will love the flower and butterfly displays. Epcot is gorgeous that time of year.

No. I ate all day today and finished with about 1100 calories. I know that's low. But I had 2 eggs. Chopped ham slices. Apple for snack. Salad with chopped ham with mustard/honey dressing. Cucumber spears. Another apple at 3. Then the equivalent of an entire 6oz chicken breast wrapped in bacon with broccoli.

No liquid calories. I feel full. Day 2 1/2 tomorrow.

    Weekend will be a test

OMG I had gas all night, and this morning I could've woken a brown bear from hibernation. But I feel good. I feel "jazzed". Friday may have something to do with it. But I am alert, focused, not hung over (lol) and rested.

For the record, I had 2 black coffees this morning, may have 1 more.....no sugars or cream that shouldnt be bad. And not starbucks either. Black, regular coffee, in normal sized mug.

Also, since this helps me stay grounded. I've had a medium sized banana and a large naval orange for breakfast. Grilled chicken salad for lunch. Dinner will probably be left over wrapped chicken with veggies.

Kids are into my diet, my wife brought home these cereals and chips on sale and was showing me....my step daughter pipes up "yeah why would you tease him, he can't eat that!!!".....its gunna be easier with little eyes checking me everywhere I go.

I've challenged myself....my wife even mentioned "well maybe some wine this weeekend to relax"......and thats not my normal 5 mixed drinks on the weekend, but I still said no. I want to cleanse a bit, know I can do it. And enjoy my new townhome with a glass or tequila!!!

Soooo, bribed with Cocaine recently huh? You thought, "I'll have Manny sell this down on 2nd St. and make a fortune" but you got caught up in it instead.

Started out innocently enough by giving some to a hooker you've had your eye on and now its all about strangling yourself at the point of orgasm while high on the coke.

    Yeah, been there done that...

Actually. You could. -raises hand- i do train to muscle on but not to the extremity of our friend there. In my 20s I was obsessed with gaining mass, bow my priority is health inside and outside as opposed to just appearance. I mox weight training with yoga, cardio, pilates and some other advance stuff since my wife is a trainer and healthy eating coach. I used to eat garbage to put on weight: high fructose, maltodextrin based mass drinks, every wright gain supplement known to man except illegal ones, creatine etc (I even worked at a supplement company, MuscleTech, and got free stuff.. Had ice cream, banana, peanut butter and masstech, and creatine shakes approaching 2000 calories twice a day)

    I was a hard gainer.

Now putting on muscle is a goal, but nit the be all and end all.

Went out to dinner for the first time on my diet. Went to Qdoba. Had a naked burrito (no tortila) in a bowl was steak, lettuce, tomato, guacamole, onion, black beans and hot sauce)

I got water with lemon. It was all delicious.

My wife's skinny *** got a quesadilla, and chips with queso. I am proud to say I did not take one. ****ing. Bite.

Day 3: it's getting easier. I know what's good and what's not. I was "floating" a lot yesterday. Foggy a bit. Some headaches. Probably from lack of sugar and junk my bodies used too. I heard that gets better. But it may take time. Had fun last night with my girls sober. Laughed, stayed up late, watched cops. I slept great. All reasons I used to say I should "have a couple drinks". So that proved my dumb *** wrong. Which is good.

I feel happy. So happy. It's a couple days, I am still heavier than I want. But I KNOW what I can control. And that's nice.

Yoga stretches helped fix my back after I pinched my sciatic nerve years ago doing squats too heavy with bad form. That and I stopped wearing a wallet in my back pocket...

I still do yoga style stretches in the mornings while watching the news as the coffee brews. A fkd up back or pinched nerve is no joke. Another reason to lose weight is your back. Read that for every 10 lbs of fat your carrying, your spine has feels the effects 10*. That's a 100 lbs of additional pressure for each extra 10 lbs.

    Namaste, my friend.
