I don't have time to read five pages on a league that doesn't start until the offseason...I have a divisional playoff game to prepare for.
You dont have anything to prepare for. Youre sitting in front of a tv watching it not playing. And you didnt have to read 5 pages, it was right on page 1.
Oh I see it was your joke. I wasn't really talking about crabs...I guess i'm not as familiar with that as you. I was just thinking jock itch or something. As for the game maybe you should put in a little more effort next season.
I dont think effort has ever been a question with me. The results were pretty good too. You must have me confused with someone else. I dont understand why youre making a joke personal. IF you didnt realize it was a joke, that my bad but the tone of the thread wasnt serious so I figured you would pick up on it.
One year while patrolling the Miami Dolphins I made solid trade after solid trade and acquired 3 First Round picks.... Those picks?? Blaine Gabbert, Leonard Hankerson, Brandon Harris. So yea, don't beat yourself up.
funny because that was what I was getting out of that previous post of yours. My sarcasm detector is fully charged and was just tested to be fully functional too
Got to step up your game to get into that category ;p FYI the prizes for the Feud of the Year winners will either be 1 year Club Level membership/extension (1 per side of feud) or alternatively a $25 gift certificate with www.nflshop.com (Again 1 per side of feud).
I try. Plus really it's like paying for entertainment. If it keeps the boards more active...we all win ;p
Hey Paul, I would just like to point out that you were wrong about Keenan Allen again. And I'm going to keep reminding you all season
That makes up for trading away Garcon [113 catches, 1346 yards, 5 TD]. Not a bad duo between he and Decker [87 catches, 1288 yards, 11 TD].
I traded Garcon because of his cap hit and Randall Cobb being a stud. Garcon - $8,200,000 cap hit Allen - $1,350,000 cap hit Cobb - $875,297 cap hit
Perhaps but there is no denying that Cobb is one of the best slot receivers in the league and acquiring him for $875K is a steal.
Most definitely. I'd argue he's on par with Cruz for the best slot in the game considering both his talent level and his astute grasp of the game for such a young age [now that Welker is getting up there in age]. You nailed it with Keenen Allen so it ended up working out well, but IMO it was a tad too much value given up for Cobb. I would've preferred to incur the $7 million hit and keep my backup RB and 2nd round pick, but I can see where you would make that trade as a Packers fan, especially if you wanted to keep Alex Smith who costed $9.75 million. I might've done the same if I weren't intending to stick with Kaepernick who cost only $1.3M.
All of that is true. But also when considering the RB position, I think Rashad Jennings ($480k) panned out to be a good #2 RB even though MJD looked like poop this season. So replacing Hunter with Rashad Jennings panned out as well.
I forgot you nabbed Jennings. Kudos on that. Nice job. I did the Gore trade to use that late 1st rounder on Eddie Lacy and would've picked up my Clemson guy Andre Ellington in the 3rd. At the end of the day though I think our offenses would've been fairly comparable so I'm really just bustin' your balls.
Yeah i was wrong. The greatest gms in the nfl mess up from time to time. Too bad he couldnt play defense for the Chargers at the end of that game. He can thank Floyd for getting hurt as well. If Floyd doesnt get hurt he doesnt see the field. And Rivers makes him better too. He lasted till the third round last year lets not forget. U drafted him too high. So suck it. Hopkins is gonna be better.
I didn't draft him too high, I drafted him right where I was supposed to because too many GMs passed up on the best receiver in this year's rookie class. Based on how he produced this year, I guarantee you if the real teams could redraft, he would be a 1st rounder and not a 3rd.
I'm like Jeff Ireland. I can only diagnose DL talent. In trying to lessen the cap hit from DT's I insisted that depth guys Mike Daniels and Cedric Thornton be included in trade. Those 2 grew leaps and bounds this year.
Still no rough timeline for at least team picking? Surprisingly excited to at least get the team and get into research mode ;p
I say go ahead and put your five teams down now... it's not going to change when GIK/Mach (assuming they are running this thing) assign teams. You want to put your five down early, go right ahead
One of these years we'll get those idiots in the dome. Our home field advantage is just as good, if not better than theirs. It was a good run. If you told me before the season that our IR list at the end of the year would include Victor Butler, Will Smith, Kenyon Coleman, Jonathan Vilma, Parys Harrelson, Jabari Greer, Patrick Robinson, and Kenny Vacarro.....Roman Harper would miss 7 games, Malcolm Jenkins, 2 games, and Broderick Bunkley 5 games... I wouldn't think we would have gotten this far...and no way we'd have anything close to a top 5 D.
