Sherman is a fantastic player and made a HUGE play at the end of that game but...absolutely came across as classless...horrendously classless. And that sticks with me more than his great play. He said that its not fair to judge his character on what he does between the lines..Why not? If that pass somehow got past him and in Crabtree's arms, pretty sure Sherman wouldnt have played to the cameras with this "act".
My point is that alot of players cannot wait to find a camera when they make a play. You know...pound their chest and do a dance. On plays not so good?..slinkn away in silence..no dances. Playing sports is more than "look at me!..."look what I just did!" Its about being accountable when things go wrong too...not just when things go your way. Still classless
Classless act for sure but we all know we would love him or the same type of player on our team. -Sent from my TMO Samsung Galaxy Note 3 using Tapatalk
you're basically saying he should celebrate when he messes up or just not do it at all. That makes sense to you?
What I am saying is if you make a play, you should go back to the huddle or sideline the same way you go back after making a bad play.Celebrations are fine...Sports are emotional. Pick your spots to over celebrate..not for an incompletion or a tackle.
hows that relate to sherman celebrating in front of the camera after making a bigger play? You've lost me.
I like Brent Grimes. He played better than Sherman this year, probably the best corner in all of the NFL. His wife has a big mouth (in more ways than one? Ouch) but not him. Go celebrate with your team, don't celebrate yourself. That said would I take sherman yes in a heartbeat. Seattle killing it with their draft picks on D.
So, a question: would you rather have a guy like Sherman—top-five at his position, boisterous, but an educated, decent guy; or Mike Pouncey—top-five at his position, not boisterous but a wannabe thug who expresses solidarity with a murderer?
Wow Sherman plays a good game but he is looking more and more like a douche every time he opens his mouth.
