Schefter's tweet an hour from now: "Dolphins interview with Nick Caserio is over. Lasted only 10 minutes. Source says Caserio ended it early after owner Stephen Ross explained power structure."
Will you ever just let things play out. If things turn out negative I will be right there with you. We just need to realize as fans we have no idea what is or isn't true.
That's what anyone would do. The idea that people are turning the job down bc they'd have to deal w Philbin for 1 more year before dumping him is ridiculous.
Good to see we are bringing in someone from a winning organization, who has experienced how to build a winning culture. As opposed to guys from the Browns, Tampa and Tennessee.
things have played out many times, usually with Miami being rejected by a high profile coach or executive.
He can't do it. He revels in the misery. Even if this team was a perennial playoff team he'll still be here moping away ;p
Hire this man and give him whatever title/authority/salary he asks for. It would salvage this entire mishandled process in my eyes.
Uh oh...interview is already over...damn that was fast. RT @MiamiDolphins: The team has completed an interview with Nick Caserio, Director of Player Personnel, New England, for the open position of general manager.
He has too much of the look though. Real serial killers are as likely to look like Ireland as they are Caserio.
Was it? Do you know exactly how many minutes it lasted? Do you know how many minutes all the other interviews lasted to make a comparison?
Woudlnt be surprised if Bill just sent him down here on a little recon mission to see just how messed up we really are. Bill probably needed a laugh after getting knocked out of the playoffs. That being said, I woudlnt mind if this actually turned into a hire for us.
It very well could be. In all honesty though, I think this would be a great hire for us if it happened. The fact we even got him down here to interview is impressive in itself. I wonder what it took...
Interesting subplot: We won’t try to identify all of the various potential reasons for multiple reports that the Dolphins were proceeding to round two on Thursday, when it was surely known that Caserio was coming to town for a sit down. Regardless, another candidate has entered the mix — and it could be that whoever leaked the idea that the process was moving to round two was deliberately kept out of the loop. from PFT... http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...ce-that-caserio-interview-has-been-completed/ Wonder if they were trying to find a leak?
If he is hired when do the Dawns puppet rumors start. You know she had him read off notecards during the interview right ? right?
Clean's old,.....doesn't take much to get him excited. he still goes all gagga when a girl wears a skirt above the ankles.
