Suppoedly the interview started at the asscrack of dawn..... Hey maybe Nick just wanted to get out of Boston for a few days, after all it is 5 degrees here....
@AdamHBeasley: I'm told the reason it ended earlier in the day than most was that it started crack of dawn. Just as long as the others. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
Hope he doesn't bite anyone
Wow I did not think they would interview new candidates at this point of the process but I am really pleasantly surprised. Caserio I think becomes the most interesting candidate. I am also really curious who is the possible other guy they want to interview, would be nice if it was real and not just speculation. Feels weird to say so but let's go Ross.
Don't know if anyone's posted this but I wrote up Caserio (along with Duke Tobin) as two candidates to replace Ireland back in November, 2013. Tom Gamble was my third but I ran into time constraints, had to get it in. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...otential-gm-candidates-for-the-miami-dolphins I think I originally wrote up Caserio for ThePhins a lot longer ago, like way back in late 2011.
Ck..if u had to hazard a guess..do you think theres a chance we land him? Why does it feel more like..we are the ones being interviewed..and not the other way around. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
In other news, Nick Casiero returns to New England with in depth knowledge of Miami's organization, Brian Gaine's current draft board and FA targets, incoming Offensive Coordinator Bill Lazor's ideas for new offensive innovations, and an Ipad with Miami's current playbook, all for which Nick receives a huge ATTABOY from Bill Belichick. Meanwhile, Dolphins owner Stephen Ross was heard bragging to his trusted confidant Carl Peterson, "I think we gave Rick everything he needs to close the deal". *pops the champaign*
Iknowright, which is just scary. And biting at her fingernails is Dawn Aponte after deceptively getting Ross to sign off on a "new ice cream vendor" which was really a contract to seize control of the organization should evidence of damaging ownership ineptitude ever surface. That's Gaine is in the background.
So there's a post on PFT that claims Caserio was asked to interview early on in the process and declined but something made him change his mind along the way. He could just be angling for a raise with the Patriots or perhaps something else is going on. What are the odds Ross is offering more power than he was at the beginning of the search and that's what prompted the change of heart? Everyone is kind of shocked he even agreed to the interview so I guess anything is possible.
One takeaway for me is that I'm thoroughly depressed that there rookies had 5x as many snaps this year as ours. Wow. Good write up by the way.
Reminds me of when everyone joked about philbins look after we hired him..... " level 68 necromancer " was my favorite. Meet cesario.... The dark knight.
Faxed my resume to Ross this morning. Guys, please keep your fingers crossed in hope that I accept the job. Sent from my Transformer TF101 using Tapatalk 4
Yeah, but that's not what they are being told they have power to do. It is likely that they don't know what will happen after year one and may not be able to dump him. And, what if you are the GM, you draft and sign players and the staff misuses them or fails to use them (Dion Jordan)? Then, you may be judged on that basis? Unless that promise is made, then there's no guarantee you have much control. But, there has been zero indication that this promise has been made to any of the candidates so … there's that.
Dude this isn't some tranny you pick up over the internet, this is the owner of the Miami Dolphins for goodness's sake. I have him on LinkedIn. No worries though, I got my People Skills endorsed by Jeffry Loria and my Integrity in Business skills endorsed by David Samson. Sent from my LG-MS770 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Waiting for the call. We'll see. He'd better come correct with that stuff. Sent from my LG-MS770 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
So, he interviewed all morning and through lunch. No deal offered, though. Then, we gave Gaine his second interview in the afternoon. Apparently they are giving all the remaining candidates their second interview this weekend. But, will they give Rick Cesarian his second interview? If they just give him one interview and hire one of the other guys without a 2nd to Cesario - it would be another fail. I was admittedly pretty depressed this a.m. before this news - felt that it is just hopelessly futile to be a Dolphin fan. This gave me a bright spot of hope. But, will they actually come through? I doubt it and then I will sink back into football-fandom-depression. Praying that won't happen.
He will have his 2nd interview as well Kevin Nogle @thephinsider 4 min Nick Caserio will be interviewing with the Miami Dolphins for a second time. Interview set for Saturday. http://sbn.to/1hUS77c
