Lol people love using the Dolphins...another swing and a miss for Stephen Ross RT @RapSheet: Nick Caserio has decided he’s staying in New England after being offered the #Dolphins GM job, per source
Lmao RT @AdamHBeasley: Person in the know I just got off the phone with told me Caserio was underpaid by the Pats and just got himself a raise.
Yeah I'm done being patient. **** you Ross. Go commit suicide by sword Japanese style you sorry sack of turd. If I ever meet him ill punch his senile teeth out
He, like Licht and Farmer, realized the joke of a program Ross has going. When people are TURNING DOWN promotions? I mean, lol Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
In the case of Farmer, he turned down a job in Miami that pays the better part of a cool million a year...to stay in Cleveland. CLEVELAND. And you can bet he's not making near that as an asst. GM; maybe 1/3-1/2. But no, it's the media, those bastards. If only they didn't have it out for us. And it's us, the non-believers; we're dooming our beloved team. If only all the good boys and girls of Dolphin fandom wish hard enough, Peter Pan will FLY!
Ross sucks.Hes a ****ing stupid ****ing moron. He should have fired all these ****ers but dumbo is to stupid to fiqure this out!We are the joke of the entire nfl bar none.**** you wayne for selling the team to this idiot! We are going to get a gm worse than Ireland because nobody with any clout wants this job.
Brian Gaine...c'mon down. This team had 0...I mean 0 contingency plan in place for what would happen if they didn't improve. It starts at the top folks. Crappy ownership trickles down. I have 0 faith and optimism in this franchise. Just give me 4 wins and get rid of everyone. I can only pray enough people don't show up or purchase anything and Ross sells this team. Anyone planning a Ross banner next year??
Not surprised. I said within the last two days that this could happen. The working of an article led me to believe that this was his motivation from the get go.
Cue Slick to remind us of the unknown personal reasons for this snubbing that are unrelated to Miami's organizational structure. Hopefully Casiero got that extra bit of information for Belichick that he forgot to gather during the first interview. lol
Clearly. We still have a list of top prospects remaining such as.... such as.... such as... help me out here brother. Seems we've become the herpes encrusted whore of the NFL.
So many are ready to jump off a bridge because Caserio declined. Yet nearly everyone believed when they heard he was interviewing that it was just a ploy to get a raise out of New England. So what was expected to happen with him, did happen. So I am supposed to cry about it? Or in the case of LBsWorst, laugh about it. If both Dawson and Hickey turn down a job offer, and we just promote Gaine by default, then yeah, maybe cry. I can never laugh about the misery of a team I am a fan of. Unlike LBsWorst. The end result of the work by the new GM will be when we know if all the negative reactions were justified.
This is the very reason I was never pitching bonfires and jumping for joy over the thought of firing Ireland.
It's not about that. It's about the fact that the guy we hire will likely be half way down the page of the initial list of top NFL GM candidates. That's certainly enough to warrant frustration, criticism, and ambivalence toward the organization. I don't have to show allegiance or support to the man who owns the Dolphins just b/c he owns the Dolphins. I had allegiance to this team long before he arrived so he's a separate matter in and of itself as far as I'm concerned. I look at it as- we have a 1st round pick here that doesn't appear to be going to first round talent. Would you be disappointed if we grabbed Seantrel Henderson with our 1st round pick this year even though the end result of the work by him is what will ultimately determine if negative reactions were justified?
You gotta admit though MC...these guys look like total tools now though..oh..guys and gal. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
You never know when a bad situation will actually be a blessing. Quit judging from just what you read and have a little faith.
Of all the GM candidates, we really have no way of knowing which one would turn out to do the best job. The order of the list of candidates from best to worst, is only someone's opinion.
I wonder if all the candidates are all at some message board together saying hey, let's do something funny and all say no to Ross the clown.
A turnheel rat from New England... who woulda thunk it. Sent from my Transformer TF101 using Tapatalk 4
just as the draft is also nothing but opinions, but that doesn't stop us from reacting to a pick that doesn't look good on the surface. I've seen you upset or excited about a draft pick so how is that any different? Isn't that just "opinion" since the guy hasn't yet stepped foot on the field to rationalize your belief at the time?
Drafted players have a track record of playing football in college, doing roughly the same job they'll do in the NFL. All of the candidates for GM, have never yet actually had final say on a 53 man roster, so until they do, we won't know who can handle that the best. IMO.
The level of incompetence from Ross is just astounding. At this point I'm starting to think he is intentionally sabotaging this organization. Amazing.
Can't believe this ****. I was really happy to see Caserio interview here for a 2nd time and I thought he would get the job and put an end to this awful GM search. Did not expect him to reject the offer. So now 3 candidates left, and not a single one that I will be happy with. Not that my opinion matters much in the end but this has ben a really frustrating process. I expect Gaines to be named now, something I would never have thought 3 weeks ago. I have absolutely no faith in Gaine, and seems the team did not have much more if we judge by the way this search has been going. What a ****in letdown. This team.... I'm really pissed.
Why do I get the feeling that this guy is sitting down with Belicheat right now going over our salary cap, free agent targets and draft targets......score one for New England. I wasn't all that excited about getting this guy, he's not a top GM candidate, but at this point he was probably about as good as we can do. I hope Ross has learned his ****ing lesson. When you want to make changes you clean the ****ing house, the entire ****ing house, not just part of it. We've been prancing around major change here since we had that Parcells trainwreck here. When you know things are bad, clean the entire ****ing house and start over. I think a lot of GMs would have found this an attractive situation if we were giving them a clean slate to work with.
