It seems as though the Aponte hard knocks scene represented a very flawed power structure..I don't blame them if that is the case.

Cue Todd to cry. Oops maybe you really are telepathic.

Then again that would be your reaction to no matter what happened.

It's starting to look like "mutually agreed to part ways" means Ireland told Ross to take the GM job and shove it up his arse.

How so? Ross relieved Ireland of his GM duties and for some reason tried to give him a newly created job without final say on the roster or draft. He had two options. Take the new job, whatever it entailed, or walk. Even if he'd taken it, there was still going to be another GM hired with the same job description that Ireland previously had.

And even if there wasn't a new GM hired, Ireland's A-hole personality would not have permitted him to walk into the building humbled after a demotion, and to be subjected to Aponte's opinion whenever he wanted to do something. I, for one, don't want him back, not even in fantasy. What we are experiencing is the pains and side effects after getting a cancer removed. The problem here is that the doctor didn't get all of it.

Thank you, Bill Parcells, you worthless son of a *****. I will never again eat another can of tuna.

I don't think Ross relieved Ireland of his GM duties. I think Ross has tinkered with the powers of the GM position having them divided up for the GM and Aponte. I think Ross told Ireland to take it or leave it, and he left. Now we're looking for a new person to accept this new idea of a GM role and no one will take it. It's not a real GM role, so the people will wait for a real GM job. No GM wants to report to the cap specialist (Aponte) and be on a level playing field with the head coach. Ross has F***** up this whole thing.

The Miami Dolphins are the new laughing stock of the NFL. And it will stay that way until that bufoon Stephen Ross sells the team.

I rather go GM-less than have Ireland so we're still a better franchise. But the whole interviewing process is a joke.

You'll probably get your wish because the new guy we hired doesn't sound much like a real GM.
