Always odd to debut a guy in the RR match, in my opinion.

Nash made his way out there.

Kofi steals the Rumble every year. Remarkable.

Reigns is getting the "Diesel" push as I expected.

The Rhodes brothers will face each other at WM.

    Sheamus returns...as expected.

Wonder if the WWE will seriously reconsider the WM title match if Bryan isn't in it because the fans will crap all over it like tonight (who am I kidding the WWE will be in denial about it and think Batista will alone will save it).

The WWE did a nice job building up Reigns though.

Sounds like this PPV outside of the opening match was a disaster. Even the Rumble entries were underwhelming.

Nice job with the crowd tonight turning on things they didn't like. The WWE wouldn't be anywhere without the fans, maybe one of these days they will listen.

What a chicken **** elimination of CM Punk. Which sets up Punk-HHH at WM.

They simply don't get it. If no Bryan, you can't have a face come out #30. You also can't have a face win it all and not expect them to **** all over it.

The Punk elimination was ridiculous, doesn't matter the set up. The WWE needs to wake up soon on Daniel Bryan, at this point it seems like they are just screwing with fans and telling them to eat their f'n broccoli and like it. Just plain stupidity and hard headed.

They don't get it nor care. Best thing for them to do is give Batista the title before WM, turn him heel and give Bryan the title shot at WM, otherwise the Batista/Orton match will turn very very ugly fast.

    RAW should be interesting tomorrow.

First bought ppv in a long time. Had a blast. The first match was ****ing art. Wyatt and Bryan were incredible.

Noticed the immense attention to "Bryan's concussion" and thought immediately he was a surprise "shouldn't be here" rumble participant or a "no show" participant. Obviously the latter was the case.

This Pittsburgh crowd was great. Orton/Cena was a snooze fest. Classic 1990 hit the ref. cheat. Kick out of finishers etc. So boring. The "we want divas" chant probably made Cena crap himself.

The rumble was fun, always is, but man number 30 being mysterio and not Bryan was a Reigns uppercut to the taint.

Batista does NOTHING for me. He did nothing for the crowd. And hopefully the crowds continue to **** on the absent for 4 year all of a sudden wrestle mania main eventer. It's bull****.

1st, Glad Cody and Goldust lost, im a huge Goldie mark and I want to see Cody and Goldie at WM and I am glad that it looks like it will finally happen!
2nd, When Rey came out as #30 you can see the crowd was deflated. They wanted Bryan and didn't care what happen after he did not come out.
3rd, Batista going to be Heel too? two heels at WM?

I do wonder if they have Taker-Bryan, and Bryan wins, what would the fans reaction be

I can only imagine the crowds reaction when it comes to WM main event time and its Orton-Batista, a match the fans don't care for. That has to change, no?

Because Batista has always been a Vince pet project and Triple H's friend. Plus he's big and has huge muscles. And did you see that big rating on Monday? OMG Batista!

I think the fans would be fine with Bryan winning a WM against Undertaker and Bryan is probably the only wrestler on the current roster who it would actually make sense to have him win, however again the WWE should never ever end that streak.

You would think based on the crowd reaction to last night the WWE would change it but Vince and co are stubborn as hell and they rarely change plans especially when it deals with their golden boys like Batista and Orton. Really the only way it would make sense is if Batista won the title off of Orton at the Elimination Chamber and turned heel to join The Authority and Bryan won the Elimination Chamber match for a WM title shot and faces and beats a heel Batista at WM. Otherwise if the WWE title match is anyone other than Bryan vs. Orton/Batista it will be put in the middle of the WM card and the main event would probably be Triple H vs. Punk or Undertaker vs. Brock.

I'd be shocked as hell if they changed plans, they probably just think it was that one crowd and it isn't the whole "WWE Universe".

What the crowds SHOULD do leading up to WM is any time the WWE title angle is going on either boo the hell out of both guys or better yet everything should get up from their seats and turn their backs to the ring or even all walk out of the arena to buy food/go to the bathroom etc. It would be hard to do but I bet if you can get the section directly facing the hard camera to do it the rest of the arena would follow suit.

Of course this could be a huge troll job by the WWE to keep Bryan out of the Rumble and seemingly the WWE title picture as a way to keep him getting more over and over, only to do a big bait and switch for WM. That could be a possibility right? I mean again the WWE can't be that stupid and dumb right?

I say that because Bryan's Twitter comments last night seem like they were WWE written or directed.

Very early rumor going around is that the WWE wants Batista, as a face, to defend the WWE title at Summer Slam vs. Brock Lesnar since Batista is in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy that's due out in August so they can promote their face champion being in a (most likely) #1 movie in the world around the same time of the PPV. The WWE recently has their wrestlers as faces to promote their movie roles and even delayed The Miz's heel turn until after his ABC Family movie came out.

Of course this is still a lonnnnnng ways away and doesn't mean that Batista could or would be champion until SS.

Tommy Dreamer had a great idea last night for the Rumble, it would have came down to Rey Mysterio and Batista and somehow Rey would get Batista over the top and win. While the fans booed, he would slowly take off his mask to reveal it to be Daniel Bryan. Imagine the pop and moment if that had happened?

They would have had to do a zoomed out camera trick and shave bryans beard. There no way WM will end with Batista/Orton fans would make that one of the worst WM matches of all time. It would be like Lesnar/Goldberg

Rey Mysterio's like one of the shortest people on the roster, plus there's quite a difference in skin tone.

And, even if Daniel Bryan donned one of Rey Mysterio's full-body suits, there's too much of a height difference.

Sort of an odd RAW. Pretty flat, but a couple of decent matches. In fact, I have to give credit to WWE in that the WRESTLING has been pretty spot on and crisp over the past few months. I know a lot of people probably were bored with it, but that Del Rio-Kofi match was actually pretty good from a technical standpoint. Its just that the casual fan has no reason to care about either guy. IT is the perfect example of the WWE right now.

Sort of odd to see them tease a Wyatt-Shield program at the end. The whole match was just a hair off and thus, clunky and awkward. Cena vs. Bray is the endgame, but it seems as if they are going to at least entertain the idea of those two factions going at it.

Someone needs to tell Road Dogg to use his inside voice. I heard every single spot he called out tonight. I guess when you get old, you have to start yelling to hear yourself.

No Punk tonight. And no follow up on the big guy they debuted at RR.

    Like I said...sort of odd.

That would be Rusev. He's green but has an interesting look.

By the way NXT is the best show that WWE puts out. They typically have 2 ton3 matches with a simple build up and logical pay offs. Plus it's cool to see these guys before they are on the main roster.

As for Raw, meh. I think it's funny that they are trying to use DBry to get cheers for Sheamus and Cena. They will put DBry in the EC but he's not winning anything any time soon. Can't wait for that Orton / Batista match. What a wasted opportunity for WWE.

Yeah certainly an odd RAW, especially with no Punk.

I'm starting to wonder if WM plans will change and we'll get Bryan vs. Triple H instead, since it actually makes more sense than Punk/Triple H. Of course that would leave Punk with nothing to do at WM (maybe he'll face Sheamus?). Maybe we'll get The Shield vs. The Wyatts and Punk vs. Cena at WM?

Elimination Chamber should be interesting though, if Orton leaves with the belt I think the fans will riot.

EDIT: Word is RAW was changed in the afternoon and originally Daniel Bryan wasn't going to be in the opening segment and there were going to be individual single matches to qualify for the Elimination Chamber with Punk being in one of those matches. When Vince changed it to a 3 vs. 3 man match, they held Punk off to continue to sell his beat down from Kane at the Rumble.

And again the more I think about it, the more I'm thinking it should be Bryan vs. Triple H at WM as the main event match.

Rumored EC matches besides the WWE title match in the Chamber:

    CM Punk vs. Kane
    Batista vs. Del Rio
    The Shield vs. The Wyatts

    All 3 matches make sense.

Right now there is serious talk of the WWE title match at WM being Orton vs. Batista vs. Bryan. Or Bryan might win the WWE title at EC and face Batista, that way Bryan as champion would boost the ratings for the next night's RAW and be a good tie in to the WWE Network launch. Apparently the WWE is really worried that if Bryan isn't in the WWE title match the crowd might hijack the event aka the Rumble. No matter what happens Batista will be in the WWE title match at WM because it was in his contract that he would win the Rumble and be in the title match at WM.

HUGE rumors are flying that CM Punk has walked out on the WWE. He apparently told Vince last night he "was going home" and the WWE has taken him off of live events he was scheduled for. He's been unhappy of the direction of his character and the company for awhile now. He still has 6 months left on his contract so who knows if/when he'll be back if he'll be back at all. This doesn't appear to be a work.

If true looks like we are getting Bryan vs. Triple H at WM then.

I don't blame him. I stopped watching for the same ressons he allegedly walked out. They basically buried every wrestler I cared about.

They should have run a long time with a Bryan-Punk fued the same way they did with HHH and The Rock. The Punk-Bryan matches were GREAT.

I mean I see both sides. On one hand Punk has been a top guy with the company and been in high profile angles/matches since the summer of 2011. He was WWE Champion for over a year, which is unheard of in the modern era of wrestling. It's not like the company was buring him and they had another high profiled feud in the works with him and Triple H at WM. Plus he was getting paid a lot of money, I believe he was the 3rd highest paying full time wrestler behind Cena and Orton.

On the flip side, the wrestling business isn't easy even if it's "fake". Between the bumps and travel and media appearances etc he's probably frustrated and burnt out. As fans we really have no clue how hard the business is, especially for a top guy. Maybe he just needs a break for it all to rest up and recharge and reset.

I hope he comes back too.

If I were him the bell would ring, I'd let down and let Bryan or whomever pin 1...2..3...

    Montreal screw job wrestlemania style.

He wouldnt however, because Main eventing WM is his dream still.....but man what a shock that'd be.
