If true, this should be the end to both of them. I can only hope, I`m getting sick of hearing their names.

Martins defense is he only did and said things to try and fit in. Weak defense if you ask me. He`s no better then Incognito.

Life makes sense now though. Martin is a step slow off the snap and passive aggressive because he's super stoned and Richie is always angry and aggressive because he constantly has a molly hangover.

I actually have no problem with that. I have a problem with Martin trying to play the victim.

Molly meant something completely different to me, growing up around logging, and even working in it for a while.

So Pouncey is into heavy drugs and was trying to pull Martin in while Incognito was "protecting" Martin from it? That's what I got out of this. If so, Pouncey might be in trouble as well, and our O-line may have to be rebuilt from scratch :/

Maybe he was never trying to play the victim. Maybe he is the victim, of his tyrannical mother.

Anyone else read all these messages and think when this whole fiasco started that Martin was in the background pleading with his mom like a 13 year old to mind her own business, but she was like, "shut up Jonathan, I'm taking care of this!"...... and he's like, "BUT MOMMMM!!!".... and she's like, "Always cleaning up your damn messes! See what happens when you choose to play football?!..... "You'll be attending law school in the fall, buddy".

Maybe he shouldn't put himself in the middle of it w/his actions?

Also, looks like mommabilly was right again with the drug accusations against Martin and Pouncey... Also said that Martin has had a gun to his head several times. I'm going to assume that's true.

That's where I'm at with all of this too. Its obvious the more that comes out, Martin appeared to have let on he's more than comfortable with all of this behaviour. Maybe somewhere deep in his mind, he knew by way of his upbringing that he shoudlnt be doing all of this stuff, and for whatever reasons he did it anyways. Whether it be because it was fun, or because he felt somewhere in his mind that had he said no, he'd have made himself an outcast. I can understand that, but ultimately, if you can't say no, or not take part, that's not Richies fault. Our Pouncey's, or Philbins, or even Dan Marino's fault. It's on nobody but Jonathon Martin. Now, if Richie was saying, "Jon, you come here and do this line of coke with me or ill kill your mother" then maybe I'd believe Martin's side a little bit.

I do agree with Martin though, he is the victim here. He's the one suffering. Richie appears to be completely comfortable with this lifestyle. Martin is the victim here, yes, but it's starting to become a bit clearer that it's also his fault for allowing himself to be subject to all of this type of behaviour. He easily could have said no, I don't do drugs. No Richie, I don't appreciate you calling my mom that. Blah blah blah.

Im so tired of this whole story. I hope neither one of them ever play again in the NFL so we don't have to hear from them anymore.

Not sure what that's suppose to mean. But if Pouncey's name is being tossed around, it's because he's involved himself in stupid ****.

I was very, very anti-Incognito when this story first broke but the more this plays out the better he looks. Granted he's a total loudmouth moron with no class at all but he really doesn't seem to be guilty of harassment at all.

Richie is a total jerk but Martin is no victim.

Its no wonder Jake Long ,a married man wanted to escape this culture. His wife probably knew about it and didnt want Jake to be dragged through it.

If the Pouncey drug use has consequences I expect he will be traded.

That would be two high first round picks and one second round pick OL that would have been wasted.

You would think that someone should be held accountable for such waste of resources.

Its just my opinion but the one underlying issue behind all of this is that Martin was struggling at his position and he had already lost the LT job and was barely hanging on to the RT spot. In his struggles he was trying to find something to explain his poor play and his slide down the depth chart. Maybe he was just trying to find an excuse for his poor play. Incognito's behavior has no excuse and the Golf Course issue is something he should be reprimanded and never play in a Dolphin Uniform again. Someone needs to sit down and have a serious heart to heart with Pouncey. One thing is for sure, we have no veteran leadership on our offensive line.

I don't hold the coaches accountable. They don't run the draft. All the can do is work with what the Gm gave them.

I agree in part. But who takes responsibility for enforcing team rules and behavior. Is there a code of conduct and if so who regulates it? Ireland was an idiot and doesn't get a pass for the job he did, but was he responsible for monitoring players behavior and enforcing team rules?

Why would Philbin know players were doing drugs if noone told him? I don't think he was on the couch with Martin passing the joint.

Some of you guys sound very very naïve.

I can only imagine what some other players around the league do/text about.

It doesn't matter what they do as long as it's kept private. The moment stuff like this comes out, the team is forced to take action. And believe me, if there is proof that Pouncey was/is involved with drugs, Philbin will want him out of this team.

It shouldn't be out there. Period. These texts shouldn't be public information. Especially when Pouncey's name is dropped and he's not even a part of the Martin/Incog case.

You have no idea what the context was or what the assumed drugs were or what Philbin what would say.

If Philbin can't handle players using drugs he should coach little league, or apply for the Sherrif's Office. The only thing he could (credibly) be saying to them is "don't get caught".
