trading is suspended until further notice. Multiple teams have traded picks that were pending in a previous trade... the trade was pending because a certain team (in this case Denver) did not accept the trade in the official thread. Until Denver goes into the trade thread (or PM's me) and accepts those trades, I cannot allow trading to continue. Some of you more experienced GM's should have known better
The WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SEAHAWKS and their championship caliber players who are ready to bring YOU a championship, yes you, have updated their trade block. Give me a reason to swap 1st rounders with ya. Also looking to trade up my 2nd. Have a few nice players available for mid round picks. I'd also entertain packaging a handful of players for a top tier WR, CB, DT, or DE. Wouldn't mind a premium left guard as well but not a high priority.
in response to this little issue... here's what we're going to do. If you can forward to me the PM where the Broncos GM approved the trade, I will certify the deal and we can move forward. If you can't find that PM, then we're waiting on the Broncos GM to send me a PM or post in this thread that all trades are groovy and we can move forward. Until then, I'm keeping the trade thread locked. Sorry. If I had been around sooner I suppose this could have been avoided but alas, real life got in the way. Thanks.
If anyone wants to duplicate Seattle's D, they're gonna need that big, athletic, stout mamma-jamma who can 1 and 2 gap from their pivotal 5-tech DE position. Red Bryant doesn't get much credit b/c he's not always acting as the "stat guy" b/c when he's 2-gapping he's clogging sh-t up so others can make plays. But make no mistake- as goes Red Bryant [or a jumbo of similar ability], so goes Seattle's D. We Miami fans could only wish big Paul Soliai had this type of quicks and ability like we see below from Bryant who utterly demolishes the baddest left guard in the NFL- Mike Iupati. I'm not necessarily looking to trade him, but I figured it's in peoples' best interest to know one of the silent stars of the league who might just be exactly what you're looking for and don't even know it. Kinda like how Kyle Williams got little respect in Buffalo a few years ago.
Who wants to give up a 1st rounder for a small handful of players?...... or even swap 1st rounders so that you can keep your pick AND get a player [great way to build a roster].
Yeah if Broncos aren't going to be active should we just make the trade forced and find a new GM? The guy has bern online...
No you should NOT force it and screw the future GM of Denver assuming there is one. If I were Paul, I'd request a screenshot of the PM of the trade being accepted.
The thibg is everyone made a million trades and changed their roster pages. We would basically have to start over.
I think slutty covered it ;p I don't know from Fin-O's side of the chain but I was next in the chain after Denver/St Louis. If it comes down to it and trades did get revoked...the people at least after me will be fine.....I'll fix it on my end even if the pick ends up better. But from what I've heard we should be fine.
nobody needs to start over. I've said what needs to happen to rectify the situation. It shouldn't be too difficult for the Broncos GM to either post in here or PM me that the trades are okay. I've heard from the Rams GM, who can't supply the PM that would show Denver approved the trade. Don't PM him anymore about the issue as that's not going to help, unless you want to discuss a different trade with him, then that's your prerogative And don't PM the Broncos GM anymore about it, as I'm sure his inbox is flooded as well. (Not directed at you Alex, just in general). Thanks.
Not really. I haven't looked too closely but I imagine there would need be to like five or so trades that'd need to be renegotiated. Preferably the Denver GM shows up though.
Preferably. The key is pick 95 (the **** pick). It's been traded quite a bit. I can fix that one on my end if it really came down to it (just a matter of getting a 3rd round close enough and then people ediiting afterwards) The big problem trades would be Fin-O to me with the Bradford trade and Fin-O to Phinator in their large top of the draft trade. As far as I can see anyways. Big lesson here is....don't forward a pick till it's official ;p Edit: Other minor problem is Phinator/Fin-O deal should specify the # of the 2nd round pick in that deal.
Yeah... I haven't looked too closely whether any pieces of those two big trades were shipped away. Usually the big trades are easier to renegotiate than the small ones in my experience.
Let's let Paul fix this, he has been an outstanding commish thus far, after he handles his family buisness Im sure a reasonable solution will be reached. Denver actually put the final touches on the trade, I wanted Vasquez to finalize the deal, he countered with giving me his 3-4 instead and I accepted. He is the only person who can prove this ofcourse (unless Muck unlocks the secret files). If this deal is nixed I will be forced to start from scratch because every trade afterwards was based on THAT deal. I hope it doesn't come too that as iam really liking my team thus far. Either way I will stand by Paul's decision. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
Yah I'm definitely in the camp of Denver stepping up and taking care of this. Too much rework headache to go on.
Obviously im not lying to gain an advantage, I had no idea he was gonna go AWOL Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
